My vehicle is an older Cadillac and well maintained. I have had it into Shields several times over last few years and all positive results. They may not be the cheapest but are HONEST and very professional! Keep up the great service! Thanks again!
NOTE: I had car to another chain repair shop (Ken Towerys) weekend before and was told I needed cross over pipe to heater core which is major 6 hour job and also resorvoir tank next to radiator. They never gave me anything in writing and said master mechanic was out til Monday and would call with estimate. We took car home and that Monday they called with estimate of 1500.00!!! Always get a second opinion if major repair. Try Shields, you will be pleased.

We were a little shocked to see this review appear almost a year after we did the work on the car and we would like to apologize that you were not happy with our service. We wish you had contacted us at the time so we could have tried to correct any issues. As stated above, we try our best to resolve issues when they arise, but it seems counterproductive to get into that type of discussion in this venue. If you would call us, (502) 426-7979, we will be happy to explain what we specifically did and charged you for and what each of the charges mean. It is clear for your review that we didn’t do a very good job of that at the time you were in our garage."
The owner was straightforward and not pressuring in his recommendations for maintenance work.
I would definitely recommend their services to anyone; I should also mention that there were several "regulars" there (based on my observations) who appeared just as confident and pleased with this business as I was.
