He has great bedside manner. He's very professional. The only thing is you have to wait. He's very efficient. The office environment and staff are great. The girls in the office are always polite and always get your weight. They're pretty courteous.

He did a great job.  I requested home exercises instead of outpatient PT since I had already undergone some PT before seeing him.  I was compliant with his recommendations & am VERY happy with the results.  I had had earlier orthopedic surgery on my knee by another physician who was NOT in his group & had extensive PT both inpatient & outpatient- I was very compliant but did not have nearly the great results I have had with Dr. Tillett.

Did a lot of research before choosing this doctor.  The doctor, doctor's staff and the staff at the hospital were all excellent and professional.  Surgery and recovery went exactly as planned/described.  I was back to work in 12 days.

I had total knee replacement in February 2013. My per-op meetings with Dr Malkani were very informative regarding what he would be doing and he took the time to thoroughly answer my questions. I trusted him completely and he made me feel very confident in him and my decision. His medical group holds an informative class at the time of pre- op testing. I have found everyone associated with his office to be very kind and helpful. Following the surgery he stopped by and discussed the procedure at length. All went well and I was even released a day early from the hospital. I chose to go to Oaklawn as I wanted to get back as soon as possible. That is another review although I was satisfied with that decision and would recommend rehab if you can do it. I have had no problems of any concern , so I have only gone to my scheduled follow up appointments. Again, he has taken the time I needed- though I feel like a textbook case at this point. He did have to drain fluid from my knee at both follow-up appointments- which some people develop fluid foreign objects until the body gets used to them. have excellent movement and overall very happy that I had it done. The recovery is tough- but I felt improvement daily. At 5 weeks I was working part time and at 8 weeks back to full time. (Office setting). I even started going to the gym last week and have added squats. Not deep squats- but squats! I still have a tight feeling just over the kneecap- like an ace bandage- but it used to feel like it was wrapped around the knee- so it seems to be going away. At 10 weeks I am very pleased and plan to have Dr Malkani do the other knee when the time comes. I would also highly recommend him based on my experience. He is a busy doctor- so schedule office visits early as he seems to get further behind as the day goes along. I don't fault it as that means he is taking the time I need during my appointment too..

Dr. Malkani is wonderful!! He takes the time to explain everything clearly, and will answer your questions.  Sometimes, it is a bit of a long wait in the office.  But, with patience, I believe Dr. Malkani is worth it.

I have been going to him since I had a back injury in 1986. I had a genitive disk disease which he manages my pain. I like him because he takes care of me.

He covers everything with you. He is good, he tells you what is going to happen and what will occur and that is what happens. His staff is really good. They are helpful and will help you with any problems you may have. Once you make the appointment it is prompt but when you are in the office it can take some time to wait for him.

The doctor is trained in a treatment option that is available. The recovery time was much faster than with typical hip surgery and the cut necessary was very small and he has had no pain and was able to go back to work quickly. I have referred this doctor to many other people because of the great results we had.
