SEXTON INSULATION

Sexton Insulation is the company that installed the garage doors in the patio home development where I live. They have placed stickers on the inside of every garage door that include a phone number to call for service; so that is where I began when a bolt broke that holds the arm that connects the door to the overhead unit. Pretty simple to have fixed, or so I thought. First, it took a week to get an appointment which no one called and told me about, I found out when I called to see if they could make the service call on one of the two days promised. I was told they would be there at approximately !1:30 on the confirmed date. When the stated time passed , I waited until 12:30 to call because I am aware that delays happen. My contact person wasn't in the office, but I was given his cell phone which he did not answer the entire work day. I did leave him 2 messages to call me which were never returned. To make a long story short, no one ever come to fix the garage door on the day scheduled. When I called him the next morning he did answer. His explanation was that there was a new policy at Sexton Insulation of which he was totally unaware. I would have to sign a proposal stating how I planned to pay my bill before I could get a simple service call to replace a broken bolt. Papers would need to be faxed or e-mailed and signed before my service call could be approved. RED FLAG, another several days before I would be allowed to be scheduled for service. Upon hanging up with the contact person I called another company and have been promised same day service. CONSUMER BEWARE, if you want a new garage door or service on your existing door DO NOT call Sexton Insulation. They are very unprofessional, and as their actions show, they don't really want to service their customers..
