normal office hours). I was quickly connected with manager of the local
branch. The service center made contact with the branch and directly connected
me a live person.
These folks were able to dispatch a crew to my home within 1 hour of my
call. Within 1.5 hours they had completed the clean up and had left the
house. They were very professional and did an excellent job.
In addition, they provided all the necessary information to my insurance
company for the claims process. Billing was forwarded directly to my insurer
for payment. Aside from reporting the claim, all I had to do was forward the
invoice for the carpet and padding replacement.
Please be aware clean up for a sewer back-up is extremely expensive. I
didn't cost shop as it was a horrible mess and I did not want to delay and risk
further damage beyond the carpeting as it was starting to reach the dry wall
behind the trim. Fortunately it was covered by insurance and as such was billed
within the allowable limits.
The job took 2 days rather than the single day that they originally thought. They did a thorough job, although there were a few areas that we thought could have been finished out a bit better but overall was good. They did show up late on the first day due to some scheduling conflict. Did a good job on the basement.
