Scot-Bilt Homes

Another home renovation specialist (whom I trust implicitly) referred me to Scot-Bilt Homes, Inc.because he had worked with Mr. Burns personally. Mr. Burns came to my house to discuss a plan of action, costs, products, etc. Since thousands of homes in Louisville had hail damage to roofs, I expected to have to wait many months before workers could get to my roof; instead, it was a matter of weeks. During that time, Mr. Burns communicated with me appropriately, giving me shedule updates, etc. He worked with my insurance company to ensure I got the best products possible and the most for my money. On the day of installation, Mr.Burns personally introduced me to the work crew foreman, who was genial and polite. He also asked the work crew to avoid damaging my gardens.  After a day of hammering (and chewing Excedrines as if they were candy -- kidding), I had a beautiful roofs on both my house and my garage. The work crew worked efficiently, cleaned up shingle scraps, and did not damage my newly planted gardens near the house. My only negative criticism is that they could have done a better job of removing discarded roofing nails. Overall, however, it was a smooth transaction and an easy solution to one of a homeowner's biggest dread.
