R & D Painting

Description of Work: On October 15th 2012 Rick Stevens and I thouroughly inspected areas to be painted, repaired and a ceiling to be lower in my master bedroom. He stated hi work was guarenteed and professional, he offered proposal to lower my bedroom ceiling and paint. October 20th 2012, We mutually agreed that Rick Stevens of R&D painting would conduct work in my home and accepted a 50% deposit of $1725.00 for painting. He thenlowered the bedroom ceiling same day and was paid $1090.00 cash. During our conversations we discussed timing was of the essence "very important" and accepted his bid and refused others due to the start date. We are updating many areas of of home and was leaving for vacation so timing was a principal concern. Unfortunately Rick Stevens did not show when as agreed many times causing us alot of troubles and refuses to refund my deposit of $1725.00 for painting, in addition I am left with an unfinished lowered ceiling in my bedroom. I could go on and on about the situation...if you are reading this I am hopeful you do not experience anything similiar to this.
