They tried flat out to scam us.The only thing they were interested in is ways they could steal money by nice sales and if the problem didn't make them enough money they would make it so it did or try to anyway in our case. They arrived the guy was a real snake trying to sweet talk a senior lady so she would spend money. First up it was a service type warranty of some kind for future repairs on our system it was under fifty bucks if I remember correctly we felt pressured somewhat but ok we purchased or gave the money away. Then on to the furnace we were told we needed a new furnace but the service guy was so talented he could fix our furnace that day but it was in such bad shape according to him it would only last a month he said so now he wanted to get the office rolling on our new furnace. He did get heat going again we declined his new furnace and immediately started getting calls from their office politely keeping in touch. The furnace did break again about a month later just as planned or just as we were told only this time we called someone we knew who had been away previously who was a honest repairman. He did us no special favors he simply honestly fixed our furnace and told us our furnace didn't need replacing it was fine. His repair and parts bill came to $180.00 a lot cheaper than a new unit and today over 7years later the same furnace production wanted us to replace is still working fine and has not had any new issues so far. I would never trust production again they are long gone from our family's life. Anytime we see one of their trucks we always remember this and feel sorry for the poor person they suckered that day.

They are so nice. They are so courteous, prompt, and when you call, they are there the next day. If you buy the gold plan and the A/C dies, they give you a huge discount.

Did a great job. Very responsive. Only recommendation would be to have crew clean up area a bit more before they leave. Had lots of pvc shavings and a few bricks left around the area. All in all great job. Would call them again if need be.

They just did an awesome job. The technicians were friendly and knowledgeable. It was prompt service. It was an all around great experience. Their price is in line with everything that I checked. They're the only ones I'll use.

Initial inspection revealed we needed a new gasket for our furnace.  Since we have had other issues due to the cold weather I contacted the office to inquire what could be done.  I received a reply from JC; who was very courteous and professional.  He has contacted the service Rep. to address my concerns.  I feel very secure in the fact that JC at Production will go to any extremes to make me a satisfied customer.  I have dealt with Production Heating and cooling five years and have always been treated with respect and professionalism.  I feel safe and secure in there capable hands.

The provider was courteous and prompt. cleaned and inspected the unit.

I had previously used another provider and left them when I felt they were trying to scare me into replacing my A/C which has kept working for two years. I originally called Production because my humidifier hadn't been working for years. What with the heat running so much this winter, this created a problem with dryness in the house. Production could have tried to sell me a new humidifier, but instead they serviced the one I had and got it running again. There is now a big difference in the house. They also serviced my two furnaces. All together for $158 with a senior discount. They were courteous, punctual, and professional. I will use them again and have already recommended them to others.

They did an excellent job in a timely fashion.

They came out to replace a valve in our HVAC distribution system and a circuit board as well.  I am seeing improved flow around my house and lower bills.  They were prompt, courteous, offered great service and it was a pleasure working with them.  They ended up having to come out twice and did not charge for the second visit.

The company was very efficient in contacting me to set up the appointment and really worked with my schedule.  The technician was totally professional and neat.  He serviced the AC and replaced the thermostat.

When I ha my furnace cleaned last year he gentleman suggested that when summer was getting close that I should have my
air conditioning unit outside cleaned.  So when the time came, I called Production Heating & Air because they had the best deal at that time and I had used them before.  They came out the next day to clean my central unit.  He told me that I had about 1" of debris on my unit and took a picture of it so that I could see it.  He cleaned the debris off the unit and the a-coil.  He did a very thorough inspection and cleaning and so my unit is running very well.  I would recommend them to anyone.

I used Production once in the past and had a good experience.  I called again for service and they were able to schedule an appointment for the next day to be there from 11am to 2pm.  I received a call that the technician was on the way around 11am and he showed up at 11:30.  David was knowledgeable and glad to answer all of the questions I had.  In fact, I believe he was the same technician that serviced my furnace a few years prior.
It took him about 15 minutes to diagnose the problem, however he inspected the entire system.  He also identified another small issue that I migth want to address but would not be required.  I do like the fact that Production maintains a price list, I am not a fan of an estimate.  David was able to tell me exactly what my service would cost before moving forward.  I also signed up for their silver maintenance plan.
All in all, I was impressed and would use them again.

They were on time for the initial estimate and more detailed than the other estimators were.  They responded to my e-mail questions quickly on a Friday.  They gave me multiple estimates with different combinations of furnaces and A/C units, which I asked for.  Price was great, especially with the Angie's List coupon being offered at the time.  Showed up on time to work and all 3 workers did a good job.  They could have cleaned up the cellar a little better, but it is a cellar and it was just small pieces of cut duct work.  All in all, I am very pleased with their work and will not hesitate to use Production Heating and Cooling again.

Ken York was absolutely wonderful.  He did careful measurements and calculation of what was the optimal size furnace, discussed the options with us, responded immediately to any questions or problems we had, worked with KY Home Performance, and generally made sure every problem was resolved immediately.  He also gave us a lot of practical advice on insulating our home which worked when we followed it. 
The only negative was that the installers were all young guys who worked quickly but not always correctly for most of two days.  I found one or two issues while they were working, which they quickly and cheerfully changed. However, after the installation, there were a number of problems that appeared (after talking to friends that doesn't seem unusual), but we called Ken and they were immediately (the same day)  fixed by experienced and friendly service people.  The whole job was done in the time frame he gave at the price he quoted.
We have been very happy with the system over the past year.  Mr York's furnace calculation was smaller than we expected, but he was absolutely right based on our winter experience.  The new equipment is quieter than our previous system, and it keeps the upstairs and downstairs much closer to the same temperature.  Basically, it now seems as though the house is now magically always comfortable.
We have delayed writing this review because we are not sure what our experience would have been without Mr York.  He made it his business that we have an excellent experience, and we did.

We have used this company for many years. It is a family-owned business. The work was inspected by the city of Louisville's Dept of Codes and Regulations. The installation took less than a day which was good as it was cold outside.
