Very thorough and professional. Checked dryer and advised no problem, just needed minor adjustment. Checked dishwasher and candidly advised that I would be better off buying new unit, rather than attempt repair. Gave advice on best/worst brands for replacement, when I asked. Performed repairs to refrigerator fan, including melting/removing accumulated ice on interior coils. Nice guy. Very satisfied.

Repair man was very thorough and professional. The dryer checked out with no problems, but he suggested some things that might be causing it to seem to not be drying as well as normal. The refrigerator had an ice ball form around the fan and he defrosted it and gave advice to avoid it recurring. The dishwasher was old and he recommended replacing it, rather than repairing it. At my request, he discussed the pros and cons of various brands, based on his experience.

I have a 6 year old Sub Zero refrigerator-freezer. During the recent heat wave the refrigerator the refrigerator refused to cool below 45 degrees. Pro Appliance is one of only a couple of certified Sub Zero repair shops in the area and I called them by default. They got somebody out the next day who recharged the system and found a leak in the condenser for the refrigerator. He also checked the freezer which was fine. The refrigerant fixed the problem short term and a condenser was ordered. At the time of the first trip no money was collected - I was given an estimate of "about $425" and told that the board was under warranty (this surprised me because the unit was 6 years old and was in a house that I bought). The part came in about 1 1/2 weeks later and a convenient time was scheduled. The technician was clean, thorough and explained his work and the warranty that stays with the unit regardless of ownership changes. The work took about 2 hours. When finished I was given a bill for $450 that included 2 service calls, labor of over 3 hours and refrigerant. Not cheap, but much better than the prospect of replacing a large $8,000 appliance.

I called for service and had no problem getting through or getting the service scheduled when I wanted it. In the past when I used this servicer, Patrick, the owner came and I was very happy. I was a little worried when a new person - "Mike" showed up, but I was just as pleased with him. Mike ordered the part and scheduled a return appt. He came out on time and replaced the boot. During the first appointment I had asked him if he would clean my dryer vent from the inside when her returned because I can't pull it out by myself. He checked the dryer and found it was still clean. The thing that makes this servicer stand out in my mind is their friendliness, and their willingness to give advice on how to use and maintain appliances to keep them in good working order. Mike is especially knowledgeable about water products. He explained how to best do laundry with a front load washer (which is a little different that the best way to use top loaders. He gave me advice on cleaning my dishwasher, clothes dryer and refrigerator so they perform optimally, because many service calls can be avoided if we know how to keep them clean. When I used this company previously, Patrick was equally helpful. He even showed me the best way to unclog the garbage disposer so I could do it myself the next time. This company is very, very customer oriented.

HE DID A GREAT JOB. IT WASN'T WORKING AT ALL AND HE CAME THE AFTERNOON THAT WE CALLED HIM. HE WORKED HERE ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF. HE EVEN TOLD ME HOW TO COVER UP SOME OF THE RETURNS PARTIALLY TO MAKE THE HOT AIR PULL OUT OF A BIG ROOM, TO MAKE IT COOL DOWN A LITTLE BETTER. HE WAS RIGHT IT WORKED.
