Car Washes
I pulled into the car wash where the arrows indicated. There was no one there. I walked inside and there was no one at the desk. I waited a couple of minutes but when no one arrived I went back to my car to leave - at that point someone came running up from the back of the building. This man did apologize for the delay. I chose a wash package I thought was $9.99 and went inside to pay.
When I went inside the man behind the counter was on a personal call and talked the whole time he took care of the customer ahead of me and during my transaction. He did not say hello or acknowledge me in anyway other than to hold out his hand for the paper the gentleman outside had given me.
He wrote $18.99 on the my paper & I had to talk over him to state that the price outside was listed as $9.99. He asked the person on the phone to hold on and said that $9.99 was the price you saved over buying each of the services in the package separately. The cost was $18.99. My car had been vacuumed & was in the auto wash so at that point I said I would pay the $18.99 and the man went back to his phone conversation. I then said that I thought he should know that the signs were very unclear. He asked the person to hold on again and said "$9.99 is what you save!" and went back to his conversation. There was no apology for the confusion, no thank you after I paid. I left and got into my car and drove off. Then I noticed that there was still dirt and crumbs on the passenger seat, the floor, the cup holders were still sticky. Worst car wash experience ever and I will not return.
