Precision Garage Door

- 09/24/18: Technician replaced garage door opener. New opener didn’t work properly. Scheduled another appointment for 10/09. - 10/09/18: Waited 2 hours. Technician never came. Called Precision, the phone representative said she wasn't sure what happened but even though I was on their calendar, the technician was already at someone's house and would not be going to my house. I had been waiting for 2 hours for nothing. Scheduled yet another appointment for 10/12 - 10/12/18: Technician came and found a manufacture defect on the newly-installed garage door opener. Said he’d replace it on 10/20 - 10/20/18: Waited 2 hours. Technician never came (sounds familiar?). Called Precision Door and was told that they had call me to confirm the day before. Because I didn't call back to confirm my appointment, they cancelled my appointment. Excuse me??? I've had many appointments with Precision Door and none of them ever asked me to call back. I confirmed when I made the appointment! You went ahead and cancelled the appointment while in fact, you have not completed the service you promised me. I already paid $552 for a new garage door opener which turned out to be faulty. It’s difficult to make an appointment because I have to ask off work to stay home and wait for technician. When I finally managed to ask off work or found an open slot during the weekend, I kept getting stood up! It has been almost a month and I'm still not getting what I paid for. Not a happy customer, Precision!

They were trying to outbid a competitor at the time. They did not honor Angie's 10% off, and they did not honor the discount they had on their website. I asked why they have the coupons if they are not going to honor them. The install was perfect. I have no problem with the installation; he was professional. The retailer who sold it do me, I didn't like how he handled it. I doubt I would use them. I value the integrity of a company. If you tell me one thing and then switch it up then I'm pretty much through with you.

The service was excellent and above expectations.

I think this garage door is about the most expensive door they carry but we love this new door. Makes the garage look like a room in the house now and it is extremely quiet. We even have an app on our phones to open and close it through the internet. Precision door service was great and the installer was very professional and fast. I still can't get over the fact that one guy removed and installed this door in a little over 4 hours. I tried to get a few more quotes from other companies but Precision came in a little cheaper than the others and they are the only ones that acted like they really wanted my business. I am very pleased with my experience with this company and highly recommend them.

What stood out about the experience was the price. I would recommend them to a friend or a family member due to the quality.

I was somewhat disappointed. My main reason for ordering the service was because a portion of my current bottom weatherstrip was missing. They installed the new strip but when door is closed, it's high on both ends and doesn't completely seal, allowing cold air and mice to enter. They explained it will get better in the summer when it's warmer. The tune-up amounted to only spraying the rollers with a lubecant.

They attempted to fix one, but ended up replacing both. The new doors are significantly quieter than their predecessors!
