My husband & I have owned up to 17 rental homes in Louisville, KY & we have used Parker Plumbing several times with extreme success & satisfaction. We just used them again (October 2019) & they were once again, timely & very efficient. Just a heads up that I just had Parker Plumbing out to my house and after they attempted to unclog a stopped kitchen sink my main line backed up into my basement - I understand that things happened but after calling their main line and emergency line they have yet to call me back - I've called them for 2 days straight now and nothing. - left messages and pleaded for help and no one has called - I ended up calling another company and got it resolved. Parker Plumbing had not been a pleasure to deal with and I advise not using them as they do not respond to their customers Also note that we have a home warranty service so that's why the repair was cheap Thanks

"Mr [Member Name Removed] is a American Homeshield Ins customer not Parker Plumbing Inc customer. If Mr. [Member Name Removed] would have called them first they would have had somebody else come to his house without a problem. Parker Plumbing did not have anybody on call that weekend because of man power problems. We can't always take every call that comes threw but we do try to take care of our customers. Parker Plumbing was only there to unstop his Kitchen sink not his sewer line and we did twice."

1. A plumber from Parker Plumbing arrived to resolve a routine plumbing issue, a clogged drain. The plumber stated that they could not resolve the clogged drain and that holes would need to be cut in my walls to access the drain lines in order to remove the clog. I requested a second opinion and the second plumber from A1 plumbing resolved the issue in 30 minutes!!
2. During the service call from Parker Plumbing one of their plumbers dented the front of my refrigerator door with their ladder. The
supervisor/owner (Mr. Parker) viewed the damage to our refrigerator and stated it would be repaired, but it?s been two months and it still haven?t been repaired. Mr. Parker stated he did not have insurance to cover this type of damage.
3. I have talked with Mr. Parker multiples and sent him all the info on our refrigerator in order for him to take care of the repairs but
it?s been two months and so far there have been no results and no indication the damage will be repaired.
-- Inexperienced plumbers sent to resolve routine issues and not able to resolve the issue.
-- Damaged caused to personal property with no indication it will be corrected.

Not very well. He basically laughed at the job, said there was no way you could ever get an exact estimate. asked when I needed it. We agreed upon a week later which should have been no later than 5/15/14 and I am still waiting. There was no further contact stating the job was too big, he didn't want to mess with it. Nothing

They were courteous, prompt, and extremely professional. Helpful staff and would highly recommend their services. Came a considerable distance in the middle of a winter storm. Situation was urgent. They were very helpful and took care of the problem right away.

The repair person arrived about the time I was told he would arrive. He was very friendly and worked very hard the entire 3 1/2 hours he was at the house and was hustling up and down the stairs turning off the water and turning it back on and doing some major repairs inside a tiny closet. The drip required replacing pipes, a bathtub handle, and more extensive work because the person who previously did the work over 30 years ago did not do it correctly. Three things I would have preferred: 1. Communication from the plumber. He replaced the shower head without telling us, when the shower head was already working perfectly and we had specifically purchased it a few years ago. I saw that he had replaced it and he offered to put it back on, but I saw that there were mineral deposits on it that I wanted to soak it in vinegar since it was already off, so I told him I would put it back on later. 2. I would have preferred an itemized bill showing how much the labor cost and how much the parts cost. 3. On our old bathtub handle, you could control how hard the hot water came out, however, the new handle does not let you control the speed so that the hot water comes out so hard that your skins dries out very quickly and it comes out so hard that it is comfortable. I was told by another plumber that they make them that way now so that no one is scalded when you flush the toilet, but I had to ask another plumber to find that out. I talked to the owner of Parker Plumbing and told him about these issues, and he offered to come back to fix what I was not happy with, but I told him I would rather find another plumber since I felt these issues should have been discussed with us while the plumber was at the house. The biggest reason I would not use this plumber again is because of the poor communication skills. The actual work he did was excellent!

Came out with in hours of me calling for clogged toilet. Very professional , got the job done and all is working well now! Even though they seemed a little expensive ($150 for being here for less than 20 min). I would still use again.

I called several other plumbers before Parker Plumbing and was offered appointments Monday and Tuesday but really did not want to go the whole weekend with no water in the house. Parker Plumbing fit me in same day and Mr. Parker himself came! He found three burst points in the same pipe and repaired them. He also gave me suggestions for some repair work that could be done to avoid the problem in the future. I don't have much other experience in paying plumbers, but I was certainly prepared to pay a lot more than I was charged. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

Parkers showed up on time and found our drain was frozen. He worked on it just over and hour to free it up. He was very polite and professional at all times. I will be calling them back if I have any more issues in the future.

I called Parker Plumbing at 4:15PM after successfully thawing a frozen pipe, only to find that the pipe had burst(water was everywhere). I shut off the water main, since the burst was behind the local shut-off valve at the sink, and therefore had no water in the house.
The woman who answered the phone told me that they had a plumber downtown, and that he would most likely be at our house in about 2 hours.
Within 2 hours, I received a call that the plumber was on his way. He arrived at our house and went to work. He found 2 additional spots on the pipe that were bulging, cut out the entire weak section and replaced with new pipe. He also put in a new shut-off.
By 7:10PM we were back in business.
I couldn't have asked for faster or better. Thank you Parker Plumbing!

The bad part was I was charged $15.00 for an item that did not fix the problem. Therefore I don't think I should have been charged for a piece of material I did not need.

Tim Parker, the owner, took my call and was able to make service call to my rental house on a saturday morning. He determined the tolit needed to be replaced and came back the following Monday and did the job. He quoted me a price and made me and my tennat very happy. I never had to leave my office!

Everything went very well. It was done in two visits. The frost-free faucet and house water shut-off valve were completed on one day and I arranged to have the new outside faucet and frozen valves done several days later. Both times they were on time and did an excellent job. Tim did my frost free and Patrick installed the back yard faucet. Workmanship was excellent, they were friendly and professional and I felt the cost was appropriate for the work they did. Should I need plumbing services in the future I will call them first.

The service has been great. They come when they say they will, they take care of business, and the cost is very reasonable. They are a locally owned small business. The owner generally is on site.

I really like their service. Anytime I have plumbing work they are the company that I call. I just am really happy with them and I have called them several times in the last four or five years. They are very responsive and I talk to them on a first name basis.

We have used them three times over the course of two or three years and we have been very pleased with the service. Each time they have responded quickly, they have been timely, and they have showed up on time. The office staff (I spoke to Jennifer) was very friendly and professional. She had Tim, the owner come and look at what needed to be done first, and then Pat was sent out to complete the project/s. Pat showed up right on time with his helper. He was very polite and professional. We had items that had to be fixed as part of selling our home. He replaced the hose bibb outside, he installed a new kitchen faucet that we had purchased ourselves, and he also pulled a toilet and fixed the flange and tightened the whole thing. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a qualified plumber and an easy Company to work with.
