Wow, I’d recommend this company without hesitation. I originally gathered a few paint contractor names from Angie’s List and friends and then got 4 estimates for several jobs around my house. I was impressed by the prompt and courteous response of Robin, Skip’s wife who runs the office. When we met to discuss the job, Skip himself was on time, knowledgeable and thorough (as are his written proposals - you know exactly each step that is taken - a good paint job is about 80% prep work!). His proposal came in a bit above mid-range of the 4; not the most expensive but I’ve learned you get what you pay for in painting. It was a no-brainer to hire him. He kept in good communication about start and end dates and followed through. In just over a day my horrid ceiling (water damage, peeling, buckling) looked brand new. I couldn’t believe it! Every job was done beautifully and I believe they may have left the site cleaner than they found it. It was the best painting experience I’ve had, start to finish.

It went unbelievably well, and thanks, Skip and Robin! Because of the extensive damage the prior tenants inflicted - I can't come up with a better word - on the walls, doors, trim, ... everywhere! All 1400 square feet of this house needed to be repaired and painted. The job started promptly, was finished promptly, and Skip and Robin have a lot of expertise and are super easy to work with. The final job looked wonderful - so good in fact, that my realtor asked me who did the painting! Not only would I use them again, I have already done so.

Skip and Glen did a fantastic job. They were punctual, professional, and very friendly. They cleaned up after themselves at the end of every day. They kept me in the loop with the timing of what they were doing. Excellent communication. I knew where the project was every step along the way. Can’t say enough about this team. They are punctual, responsive, professional and courteous. While painting the interior of the home they had to work around a tenant’s belongings, and treated them with the upmost respect. The crew finished the work on a tight deadline and did a professional job.

Very satisfied with the work that was done. The owners are super nice people, and the crew was very professional. I contacted them after I decided to not to sign a contract with another company, and Skip came over promptly for our quote. It went very well and they were always punctual and started at 8 AM in the morning. Skip and Robin have a wonderful crew of four men who not only do a great job but are very polite and personable. I am glad we chose this company because they did a really good job and I especially liked the patching and drywall work that they did. It wasn't cheap but I really feel you get what you pay for and they did a lot of work in our home. I would definitely use them again if we need to.

It went well. A large painting crew showed up the first day to prep and paint the first coat. They did a great job. A few touch ups were needed and they came right back the next day to make sure we were 100% satisfied with the job. Great crew! Great work!

Painting the Town did an amazing job on my exterior painting, and I recommend them without hesitation. From the initial phone call to the end of the job, Robin and Skip were pleasant, professional, and responsive. After the initial call, Skip came by to look at the house and then I got an estimate within a few days. There were several places where the paint was peeling and some of the trim had rotted due to water damage, so the prep work was particularly important. Skip and the rest of the crew spent several days just doing the prep, including scraping and sanding, to make sure the paint job will last for a long time. They also cleaned the window and door frames, which were very dirty. The entire crew was polite and pleasant, and they cleaned up completely at the end of each day. They told me that several of our neighbors stopped by while they were working, and on the final day one of them said that our house is the best-looking one on the block. I agree! Thanks, Robin and Skip, and I'll probably be calling soon to get an estimate for our kitchen cabinets!

It went amazing. Skip came over within days of calling to give us an estimate. We thoroughly discussed what needed to be done to fix a previous painter's poor paint job. He then emailed me a detailed estimate and contract, and was able to schedule promptly. He and his crew were the ultimate professionals. They were kind and non intrusive. We have kids around the house, and it was as if his crew wasn't even here. They worked diligently, and tidied up their mess at the end of each long work day. I was impressed. They showed up on time every day, were respectful, and dealt with my crazy pregnant micro-managing. The end result is better than we could have hoped, we love this room. We will definitely use them in the future for some upcoming bigger projects, and have already recommended them to several friends and family members. We received multiple estimates from local painters, and their pricing was on point!

Except for all the dust bunnies they uncovered, it went so well. Skip brought a crew of 3 or 4 each day and they were here promptly at 8. It took them 4 1/2 days to get the job completed. They were each hard workers, did not waste time and were extremely polite. They cleaned up after themselves and checked with me about any access I might need that night to a particular room they were working on. Any requests I had were taken care of immediately. They repaired 2 cracks in drywall and you can't tell where they did the repair. I am completely satisfied with the quality of the paint work.

I had used Skip and his crew about three years ago to do some exterior painting for me and was impressed with their work. So when I needed all the wood in my house (baseboards, window sills, chair rails, wood beams) re-stained, I immediately knew who to call. Skip got back to me within 24 hours and made a visit to my house to see exactly what I needed done. Skip is very knowledgeable and very professional, and I had no doubt that the job was in good hands. The crew showed up on the scheduled day at the scheduled time and after greeting my two dogs, they got right to work. The crew was friendly and easy to work with and have around. They are meticulous in their painting and not a drop of stain (which is very thin and runny) got on anything. The job was very tedious, but I never heard a complaint from any of them. These guys are truly professional in their work ethic and take great pride in their work. The finished job was absolutely awesome!!!! The job took almost a week, and the only downside was that when the job was complete, the dogs were disappointed because their "new friends" wouldn't be coming back!!! If you need any painting done, inside or outside, you won't be disappointed with Painting the Town. They are reasonable in price, professional in their work and a pleasure to work with. The job was expected to take seven days and was completed in five which was a pleasant surprise. The same four gentlemen arrived to work on my home each day rather than a revolving door of sub-contractors which allowed for a consistent experience. Skip, who estimated the job and prepared the bid, was involved in the work every day which reduced possible confusion and discrepancies regarding what was to be done. Everyone I dealt with start to finish was friendly and professional. I would definitely hire this company again.

Skip and Robin were wonderful to work with. The price was extremely fair but the workman ship was above and beyond. I had new carpet installed after the first job and they were extra careful to make sure nothing got on the new carpet. Very professional and really nice people. They are dog people and they are always the best kind. Would definitely recommend them.
