Nu-Wood Works did a fine job staining our new deck and pergolas that were built this past summer. The owner Mark is timely and efficient with communication. He custom created a stain colour for us. I wanted a teak-shade and he was able to create this for us. It looks great, and he says he will be adding this shade to his line, I highly recommend you check it out. The young man who stained our deck, Cris, did a great job and works very well on his own. I did notice a few details upon my inspection, minor missed spots, but Cris was diligent and ensured I was happy before he completed the job. I highly recommend this company for all your outdoor staining needs.

There was an attention to detail that surprised me. Based on their experience, I came into this project with high expectations. Those expectations were exceeded. They helped with color selection, and offered solutions on unexpected situations as the project progressed. Entire exterior of cabin was stripped, sanded and cleaned before new finish was applied. Good weather helped us stay on schedule, with only one Saturday lost to rain.

We would highly recommend Nu-Wood Works to anyone! This was the third time that we have used Nu-Wood Works and will never use anyone else again. We have our home stained every five years. The last time we couldn't find the phone # and had someone else stain our house. Well, that was a big mistake. As we were looking for contractors we found Nu-Wood again. It was great speaking with Mark who we had worked with two times before. He immediately came out (1 1/2 hours away) gave us a quote and the job was theirs. Chris was the on-site worker who did all of the work. He was a perfectionist! He took his time and treated our home as if he was working on his own. We couldn't be happier with a job well done!

Finding someone who "specializes" in log cabin staining is a challenge. Most out there are just regular house painters who apply some off-the-shelf stain product. However, there is a lot more that goes into properly staining a log cabin. I was ready to pull the trigger on one of those "house painters" when I stumbled across Nu-Wood Works from a mailer. Mark and his crew take their work very seriously and did a great job. Their attention to detail and for getting it done correctly is an obsession. They took a lot of time prepping, power washing and sanding the logs which is critical for a good job. Then they applied their own formula of stain that brought new life to the logs and is designed to last for years. If you have a log cabin that needs staining, these are the guys you want to do it right. Highly recommend!

We thought our home could never look this beautiful! It had been years since anything had been done to our home and we were able to have it done this year. I had ask around and also knew someone who was very picky about his home and he had used this company before and his house was beautiful. They assured me from the start that they could transform the look of our home and they well exceeded our expectations and we are so thankful that we used Nu-Wood and would again without hesitation. Also got many compliments from our neighbors. GREAT JOB!!

The stairway rebuild was very tricky, given the age of the house and the space available. The carpentry work is first rate, and we are very happy with the results.

Nu Wood has stained my contemporary home 3 times. Twice entire house and once two decks. The house design and exterior lighting is unique, there are various levels and hard to reach areas. The crew was dependable and did an excellent job, a job to my satisfication, each time. They are also able to do replacement boards as necessary. I get many compliments on the color which I never get tired of looking at. I highly recommend Nu WoodWorks.

Nuwood does an outstanding job. The quote may not be the cheapest, but it is clearly the best value. The stain product they use will last for several years. It is by far the best quality stain out there. The workers that power spray are careful not to harm your wood. They also apply a great thick coat of stain. I will not use anyone else. I can’t over-emphasize the great value their high quality product and workmanship gives you. Also, a very honest company which is important in this industry.

Nu Wood completed the job in a timely manner as it only took two days. Jerry, the stain master, applied the entire deck wood without spilling a single drop on the Trex part of the deck.
