Mitch Moutoux with Mr Roof in Louisville, Ky made initial visit and discussed damage repair, showed some samples, took some measurements of the house then said he would get back to me with an estimate. Two days later on August 7 he emailed me with two prices. I emailed him back and told him I would go with the lower price estimate and I would need a more exact estimate to send to the insurance company. After several calls to Mr Moutoux I have heard nothing from him.

Mr. Roof installed my roof five years ago after a hail storm. All was fine until two days ago when the roof started leaking. I contacted Mr. Roof and they sent an inspector the next day. The inspector, Mike Lewis, arrived on time and found a clip between two plywood panels on the roof had worked itself loose. He repaired it on the spot at no cost. Prompt and professional service from the phone call to the repair.

The roof looks fine. The downfall is that they subcontracted the work even after I specifically asked them if they did that. The workmanship was fine and the time frame they did it in was good too. They did it in one day. They assured me I would not find any nails in my yard, but I am still finding some.

The salesman I spoke to, Brian, worked with my insurance company and met with the adjuster to examine the old roof. Brian explained every detail of the roof replacement to me and even removed the screen gutter guards I had that were starting to fall off. The crew arrived early in the morning as scheduled. They tore off the old shingles and had to replace some of the wood underneath. The Project Manager, Miguel, showed me areas where the wood wasn't nailed down properly and they fixed it. I checked with them a couple of times and they showed me what they were doing at that point and answered my questions. By late afternoon they were finished and cleaned up the yard. They left a few supplies in the yard but they were picked up the next day by the Supervisor who inspected and approved the work. I now have a beautiful new roof and my experience with Mr. Roof was great.

I thought the materials they supposedly use looked pretty good but was sold on their 10 year warranty.Then I did some research on them and felt I was getting ready to make a big mistake due to all of the bad reviews I saw.I immediately cancelled the contract and felt relieved.
