Miles Fence Co

It started off very professional, but once installation took place, there was zero communication and very poor service to fix issues. There was a very detailed discussion during the estimate, but they were not followed once the fence was installed. They installed the wrong style of the front gate and to add it was cracked as well. The rear gate was installed at a different angle than the rest of the fence and had a huge gap underneath that a medium-size dog could get under. The fence itself was very dirty and covered with white dirt that wouldn't come off with just spraying water. I tried multiple times after the fence was installed to get someone from the company to come to see all the issues. They finally sent someone after 3 weeks to try and clean the fence. They did an average job and I had to go back and redo it. The rear gate was addressed after about a month or so and their fix made it worse. They changed the opening direction of the gate and now it is more of a pain to open than having a gap underneath. During all this, multiple times I tried to communicate with the company and either they would never respond or they said, "oh, yeah we will take care of that", but no one would show up. It was not until 2 months after installation that they finally showed up to replace the broken front gate. Bottom line is that I will never do business with Miles Fence Company again. Their communication is horrible, they proved that paying them was the only thing important. Once they were paid the communication went from almost nothing to definitely zero. The issues I have with large gaps underneath the fence, as well as a rear gate that is almost non-functional, are still not resolved after 5 months. So I guess I will have to go to another company and see if they can fix the poor workmanship of the Miles Fence Company. The only reason they received a D-rating instead of an F is that they started off being very professional.

Job was done well. Owner arrived promptly to discuss the job, provide options and provide estimates. Installation experienced a bit of delay due to holidays and weather - which can be expected. Removal of old fence and installation of new took place over 3 days. Job site was left clean each day and at the end. I replaced a white wooden picket fence with white aluminum Kestral picket. I’ve gone from maintenance nightmare to maintenance free! The new fence looks beautiful and I’m already getting lots of compliments.

I was beyond thrilled with the service I got from Jay. We were under a time crunch to move a fence before closing on our house. We received a quote and the work was done the same day. I cannot thank Miles Fence enough for going the extra mile to ensure that our problem was fixed quickly.

Perfect in every way. We had a problem in one area of the deck and although we had several people here to look at it, Jay was the only one that came up with the perfect solution. And the railings were perfect, installed perfectly by trained and very kind personnel, and the price was the best in town. We were totally satisfied . Everything that Jay told us happened. We could not be happier and we would use Jay and Miles Fence Co again and again. Honest, caring and dependable which is hard to find in todays world.

Outstanding service, responsive, and very reasonable. I needed minor repairs accomplished quickly for a home inspection. I called 6 other fence companies before Miles and not one of them would/could come out in less than 3 weeks to quote the service, then it would be another 3 weeks to have the repairs scheduled to be performed, including the original installer. Glad I checked with Angie's List.
