Middletown Roofing replaced the roof over our house and on our garage. We could not be more pleased with their quality of work and service. We extensively researched many roofing companies online, small and large, and received several quotes. Middletown Roofing offered extremely high-quality materials and work, but at a substantial a lower price. Online, we read many times what an honest person Roman and his crew are, and this was our experience 100%. Roman was extremely involved in all stages of the process and highly familiar with the details of the job. It took us ~2 months from the time we received the estimate until the time the work was done (due to gathering other quotes). When the crew arrived, even the tiniest details--which we had described to Chris when receiving a quote months earlier--were very carefully attended to, and Roman had full knowledge of them all. If ever there was a change or an update, Roman called to keep us updated and shared photos so we could understand what he was seeing. For example, we had some rotted decking etc. that required replacing, and Roman communicated very clearly about this in advance. (We expected this given that the house is 100 year old, and some of the boards forming the eaves overhang were visibly reduced to ~50-60% of their original width.) The extent of communication was just one example of Roman's thoroughness. Roman holds himself and his crew to the highest standards of work. Roman believes in using high quality materials that will last, and he offers these without markup or price increases. He prefers to use high quality materials because he believes in standing by the job he has done. As another example, his company was the only one to suggest additional precautionary measures (like adding extra ice and water shield in especially prone areas). The extra layer provides an important additional layer of protection in areas that had previously been the sources of leaks. Roman's team was extremely efficient, and when the job was done, the yard (and all areas around our house) were impeccably clean. Our neighbor told us that he continued to find roofing debris for 10 years after his roof was replaced. My wife and I scoured our yard, and found virtually no debris whatsoever. The replacement was covered by insurance, and less than 24 hours after the job was finished, our insurance company had a copy of the final invoice and supplements. The very next day, Roman spoke on the phone with our claims specialist to explain the nature of the supplements. Again, his quick turnaround, his extensive knowledge of the job, and his meticulous attention to detail shined through. Working with someone who is honest and who we could trust made all the difference in the world. It eased our anxieties associated with replacing the roof--which is one of the most important parts of any house. We are stunned by the quality of work and level of service we have received at a price that is substantially lower than comparable companies. We are absolutely thrilled with the work that Middletown Roofing has done, and we have already begun recommending them to our neighbors, family, and friends. We'll be returning to them for all future roofing needs and feel extremely fortunate to have had such a positive experience.

I called Middletown due to their high reviews on Angies List. I had a leaking roof which rotted roof decking beneath along with ceiling damage inside home around 4 chimneys due to improper flashing when home was built 4 years ago. After speaking with the original roofer who was unable to fix the problem I consulting with Middletown. We outlined a plan to address these deficiencies and within 2 weeks they were onsite fixing these problems over a two day period. They were willing to take the time to properly pinpoint problems by doing a thorough review and then take necessary steps to professionally fix my roof. I highly recommend them for any roofing needs and to fix bad subcontractor work performed by less reputable businesses.

We discovered leaks in our first floor bay window and called several local roofing professionals. The job was small (and I mentioned that up front) and I knew we may have a tough time finding someone to help us. Chris from Middletown Roofing was very responsive, did a thorough inspection of the roof and provided a written estimate. We accepted the quote that day and I was completely surprised to have Chris call me and let me know that a crew had some time that afternoon to come by and replace the roof over the window! We were thrilled - especially because we were expecting more rain that weekend. The crew was prompt and replaced the roof over the window that afternoon. With any roofing job, there is scap material/debris - they left everything, including our yard clean and debris-free. We had a great experience with Middletown and wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

I highly recommend Middetown. I had a very difficult time finding companies to fix my roof. Most of them was way overpriced or trying to get me to file an insurance claim to get a new roof on a couple of missing shingles. They were honest, responsible, fair priced and service was done in a timely matter.

The entire experience with Middletown Roofing was smooth and problem free. We had a total of 8 estimates for our roof replacement. Middletown Roofing was the only one to answer all our questions on the first meeting and gave us a full explanation of the different types of optional Owens-Corning warranties and what the price would be. None of the other companies even mentioned the optional warranties. The installation crew was very professional and the hardest working crew we've ever seen. It was a fairly big job (50 squares of shingles) and they tore off the old roof and installed the new one in two days. We are very satisfied with the results. The owners of Middletown Roofing, Roman and Marcos, were professional, polite and a pleasure to do business with. We also hired them to replace the service door to our garage. The installation was excellent, and we are very satisfied. We would hire Middletown Companies again for any future jobs we may have.

Middletown Roofing is an often overlooked service provider. This company re-roofed our previous residence and we were very satisfied with both price and workmanship. That experience put this company high on the list for our repair need. Marcos was very thorough with the estimate and responsive to resulting questions. I received a quote from a competitor but opted to go with Middletown due to past experience. The repair was done according to estimate, on time and proved to solve the leak. Middletown Roofing did an excellent job! We had had leaks in several spots and they replaced the sub roofing where required. They put in two new skylights, replaced all the drip edges, and effectively installed the new roof even in areas that are rather complex on our home. They started promptly and stayed on the job till it was done. Due to the scope of the job it took 2 days to complete. Everyone was easy to communicate with to answer the questions that I had. I can certainly recommend them and would use them again for any roofing needs that I have.

Pain-free, worry-free. Cheapest of 3 quotes that I obtained. The two others might be considered bigger companies than Middletown. Marco (owner's son) came out and gave us the estimate, and made sure to spend as much time we needed to answer our questions. He's young, enthusiastic and seems very sincere and professional. He also dropped by a couple of days after the work to double check on the quality and make sure we had no concerns.

Middletown Roofing (Chris) was very prompt with calling to schedule a time to estimate the work, as well as with scheduling the actual completion of the job itself. With smaller work like this, it's VERY hard to find contractors and firms willing to come out and provide an estimate; and furthermore to actually complete the work without waiting 4-6 weeks. The pricing was appropriate, he worked with me to review exactly how he was going to complete the work (quality), and had everything resolved within 2 days of being contacted originally. Thank you all for being so prompt, definitely helps me to sleep better knowing everything is good with the exterior of my home.

I called on June 27 to have someone come out to inspect the roof and give us an estimate to repair. Chris came out the same day and not only inspected the roof but left to get the needed shingles and fixed the problem by the end of the day. VERY satisfied and would highly recommend them for any roof repair you might need. Great job Chris!

The quality of the work was excellent. I got good advice from the estimator. The workers were friendly, clean, and knew what they were doing. My only problem with Middletown was scheduling. I told them that I wasn't in a hurry, but I wanted to be home when the work was being done. I had to call twice to get an idea of when our job was on the schedule. Then when the work day came, they had only 2 workers on the roof for most of the day. They did finish that day, but it took much longer than I had been told. I had the same problem, to a lesser degree, with scheduling the guttering. They didn't call me to schedule a time; when I called to learn what their plans were, they got back with me. All the work was great; I just expected them to be more proactive in informing me of their schedules.
