MIDDLETOWN ANIMAL CLINIC

I highly recommend this clinic!! I am taking care of my parent's dog (not from KY) and something was wrong with his paw. This clinic got me right in and was wonderful to the dog as well as my family. My children were very worried about their dog and the vet was so kind to them and even let them listen to the dog's heartbeat. The cost of the visit was much less than I had anticipated. I give this clinic an A+!

You can make the appointments on line or through telephone. I usually did have to wait very long to get an appointment. I have gone here for twenty years. We also brought our previous cat there. They are very sympathetic and very understanding. They explained options for the treatment. They know how to handle animals. The clinic is clean.

We recently moved to Louisville from another state and had to find a veterinarian to do an annual exam and teeth cleaning on our Pomeranian (Oscar). I took him in to Middletown Animal Clinic for the exam in mid-July and it went great. For the exam I saw Dr. Fowler. She was very thorough with the examination, she answered all of my questions, and she was great with Oscar. During the exam I asked about a spot on Oscar's nose to see if she could tell me what it was. She said to be sure she would need to do a needle biopsy which, given the location of the spot, would be painful to do without some anesthesia. Since I had already planned to get his teeth cleaned Dr. Fowler suggested that I get the spot biopsied in conjunction with the cleaning so that Oscar would not feel any pain. I took Oscar back to get the biopsy and to get his teeth cleaned on 8/10/2012. Dr. Bishop was the one doing the procedure. Dr. Bishop did a great job with getting Oscar's teeth clean and he biopsied the spot on Oscar's nose which turned out to be something that needed to be removed. Dr. Bishop called and explained the situation to me before removing the growth and let me know how much it would cost and whether he felt the removal was necessary. Dr. Bishop did the removal and sent the growth off for biopsy. It turned out to be a mast cell tumor which has the chance of spreading throughout the body if not taken care of. Dr. Bishop did a great job in removing the whole tumor and Oscar healed without any issues. In explaining what the growth was, Dr. Bishop took his time and made sure I understood what we were dealing with and what our options were for treatment. He was very practical in his explanation and also very compassionate. I feel very confident that I found the right Veterinarian for Oscar's care and will take him back there for all of his care.

This is the finest vet clinic I've been to. In the Louisville area we have a group called the Shamrock Foundation who fosters and rescues dogs. We are fostering one of their animals. The dog had been here and there and we've been had him for about a year. We're taking him to Middletown because he is 14 years old and he has arthritis with a lot of pain. He's becoming a dog again so we're rather pleased with the staff there at Middletown. I was there last week to pick up meds and I paid nothing. Amanda is a deeply concerned vet who cares about the animals she services. I am taking my other two dogs there now.

Great! Very friendly staff. Price is right. Very happy with them.

I boarded my pet for a couple of nights. They are friendly and compassionate. I would use them again in the future.

We arrived a little early before opening hours but they had no problem with us coming in to fill out the paperwork. Dr. Fowler called us in within a short time and took care of Heidi with real passion and kindness. The staff was amazing and very friendly and our normally very shy cat was very relaxed. Dr. Fowler took out some time to talk to us about Heidi's health and explained to us what we can do in the future and about emergency services that they offer. I am so glad I found this vet on Angie's list and already made an appointment for my other two other cats.

It has gone wonderfully for 30 years.....Trust me I would not drive 220 miles to have them neuter a couple of kittens or to spay a cat if I didn't have complete faith in them. They check out my rescues and are very helpful with ferals, even those I can't bring in to them. There are too many stories of kindness and compassion.

Everything went very well and I was pleased with the service. I parked right at the door. Dropped off my dog before going to work and picked him up at the end of the day.

You will never find greater vets than at the Middletown clinic. I bring my cats and dogs from Russell County, and if you are familiar with the area that says a lot because its over a 2 hour drive for me. They give you the straight and honest information you are looking for. They have come in during the middle of the night, even weekends and sundays to help me out.

This is the only place that I have been to that respects the dogs physical health. They are a great place and really care for the animals well being. They were very sweet and kind. I have recommend them to other people because they are just so compassionate and warm.

I am very happy with this place. I use a few places and this one is a back up. They are very clean and friendly and make sure to answer all of your questions. The price is reasonable and the service is fantastic.

THEY PROVIDED GOOD SERVICE AND ARE GOOD WITH THE ANIMALS. THEIR PEOPLE ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL. I DON'T THINK THEY DO ANYTHING ELSE EXCEPT BOARD THE ANIMALS.
