Meadows Apartment Homes

Even though the apartment complex is clean, the location is great, and they also let me extend my lease 1 month while closing on my home, I still would not rent from this complex again. They advertise different leasing options, like month-to-month, 3 months, 6 months, or a year. The less time you stay the more you pay. But, what they don't tell you is that if you sign a month or 3 month lease you are then locked into the higher price whether you want to sign a year lease later (after your original contract expires) or not. Once you sign a lease, the higher price is what you will continue to pay. In addition: the neighbors were noisey. I could hear loud music, arguing in the bathroom next door, neighbor having s**, and people standing in parking lot talking on their phones at all hours of the day and night. The windows were very drafty, which increased my heating bill immensely. The apartments are very small (especially for the price). They do rent washer and dryers, but they did not work for the first week I was in the apartment and they did not compensate for lack of proper rental equipment, my time, or the cost of having to go to a laundry mat (even though I had already paid the rental fees in full). Meadows apartments works as an alternative temporary place to live but is not worth the high cost otherwise. [year built is estimate due to unknown time apartments actually built]
