Floors look great! Everything matches with the new wood installed. Very professional. I chose Magnum even though they were on the higher side for my quotes. I had a higher confidence they would do the job right and I would be happy long term.

I thought the price was fair. I was very satisfied. They were very responsive. They were really good. There were two young men and I thought they did a good job. I enjoyed having them here. I would use them again and I would recommend them. Our 60 year old floors look new again. There were dark spots from animals and they corrected them.

It was fabulous. They were there right when they said they'd be there. They kept me posted on progress. They were very helpful when I was choosing a stain color and finish sheen. They finished ahead of schedule AND the floors are ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL....just what I had envisioned. I can't speak highly enough about their work. Thank you, Magnum Flooring!!!

They did a beautiful. Blended color in living room with an area that did not need to be refinished. We're highly professional and wonderful to work with. Returned phone calls very promptly and were here every day on time. Would highly recommend.

This company and the two owners have done three properties for me (my home, my sons and my daughters home). They were very professional, arrived on time, worked hard and finished timely. I had at least three quotes on each project and Magnum was extremely competitive on each project.

They are definitely very professional. They own the company and they do all the work themselves. They are honest and price-wise, they are very reasonable. We did shop around and they were the most reasonable. That's the one company we definitely are sure about using again in the future.

Matt and Michael were prompt in returning my original call and visiting my house to give an estimate. They are very friendly, well-mannered, and gave excellent advice for flooring choices we were considering. Upon accepting their estimate, the work was scheduled for 3 months later because they were booked solid! I didn't mind, however; their price was reasonable, and I trusted all the excellent reviews from Angie's list.
They contacted me about a week in advance of the work to confirm the start times, and explained exactly what would happen during the process, and how long each step would take. This was very helpful for planning purposes. I have never seen such pleasant, happy workers! There was really no mess that I can think of. They are very neat themselves, and also take measures to ensure that the floor sanding is as dust-free as possible. They seem to really enjoy what they do, and they are very good at it. Our floors turned out beautifully, and we are 100% satisfied.

These 2 guys are great. From making the appointment for an estimate, to finishing the floors a day earlier than expected, everything went right. They were always on time. They have great pride in their excellent work. I had them tear out tile, vinyl, carpet and old Pergo wood in kitchen, dining room, family room, hall and entry to make the same floor throughout the whole public part of my house. I also plan on having two bedrooms done, but because of furniture issues, they kindly agreed to make this a two part job. The first part is done and all I can say is WOW!. The floor is fabulous. I used unfinished red oak hardwood with a natural finish. They put 4 coats of semi-gloss polyurethane on for sealant. To save money on the tear out, we got a dumpster from the city because I could get it less expensively than they could. Good move. Everything is cleaned up and finished beautifully. They give you a pamphlet on caring for the floor and tips on bringing your furniture and appliances back in so as to not mar the floor. They were much less expensive than many other estimates I got, but the quality is still there. The two owners do all their own work. No subcontracting out. I give them an A+ rating. Can't wait to get the bedrooms done.

These guys are very fast and do a beautiful job! The best part is there are only 2 employees and both are also the owners so they represent their company fully with their work. They arrived on time finished the job quick and left everything clean. I would recommend them to anyone.

Unfortunately, I am like the average population and fail to speak up when I get great service, but am quick to spread the word about a bad job. The experience we had with Magnum Flooring was so above and beyond my expectations, I was inspired to write my first positive review on Angies List. My newly purchased home had disgusting carpet in the master bedroom with a terrible stale pet odor. My wife and I decided to upgrade with hardwood flooring. As new homeowners, we were cautious about finding a good company, and working on a budget. After asking around, I met with Matt and Michael of Magnum Flooring and was very impressed with their professionalism and overall customer friendly disposition. We promptly decided to move forward after we got a very reasonable estimate. We set an appointment and they arrived ahead of schedule and got straight to work. They did not even leave for lunch. They dove head first into their work, and they had a great spirit about them. I wouldn't hesitate to say these guys are perfectionists as they paid very close attention to detail and took the extra steps when necessary to get everything just right. In the end, we were left with an extraordinarily beautiful floor throughout our bedroom and closet. They even sanded and refinished the hall to match the bedroom. As the owners of the company, I could tell they were very dedicated to doing the best job they could do in order to build an honest business and create a great and lasting reputation for themselves. There were no shortcuts. I can't help but wish these guys would expand into other facets of home improvement so I could use them for everything! They truly gave us a great experience and I would recommend to anyone that is remotely considering hardwood floors to schedule a meeting with them.

Matt and Michaeal are a great team to work with. They own the company and do all the work themselves. So there is no middle mane to deal with. These guys are personable and will do whatever it takes to make the client happy. -Matt and Michael were always available through e-mail and phone to answer any questions we had. They were very patient with us when it came to choosing a color for our floors. They wanted to insure that we would be happy with our color choice. So they applied the stain in a few rooms and then had us check it before applying it to the rest of the 1st floor. If, we had been unhappy with the color they would have gladly changed it for us.

We had no reservations leaving them alone in our house. They work hard and it shows. We love our new floors and would use these guys again.

They quoted me on a Monday and were able to start the job the following week. The floor was fully installed and finished in 4 days, with 3 coats of polyurethane. I was able to walk on it by Friday.

FIVE THOUSAND STARS!!! The experience was excellent from start to finish. Excellent workers, work and a price to match. They showed up on time for the estimate and were clean cut guys. You knew they knew what they were doing from the start. They came in took a look at everything, listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. They gave me a brochure about themselves and their work. I was quite impressed. They both had a solid education back ground and years of experience. They had even gone through a training school and had all kinds of certifications from different associations including a hardwood flooring association and Louisville Home Builders. It showed some picture of before and after. They did some amazing things with some bad floors. They said that their sander was virtually dust free because it had a vacuum not just a dust bag. He said he would email me a quote that night and he did. After seeing the price, I jumped at it. We had received two other quotes and he beat them both hands down. He said he was booked a little ways out, but at that price I knew why and it was worth the wait.

The work far exceeded the price. Leading up to the work I had a few questions and concerns. He answered them all by both phone and e-mail. His emails were timely. He started the day he said he would and got started early. He showed up each day on time and got his work done when he said he would be done. This was huge since I was coordinating other work that needed to be done. He stayed in communication with me through out. He asked me questions to make sure he got everything right. I loved his attention to detail. They treated it like it was their floors. Their sander WAS dust free, which made the wife very happy. They sanded the entire house, about 2,000 sq ft, and we did not even have to dust when we moved everything back. I had a few bad spots that I thought were beyond repair, but he made them look brand new (if it was beyond repair he replaced that plank). The floors look perfect!! He matched up the old and new floor in the kitchen perfectly. You can't see any difference between the old and the new. We were working with a decorator and he was kind enough to put down some colors for her to take a look at and make sure we got the color right. They worked with the decorator's schedule and got it right. The work was so good that the electrician that was doing some work for me, who also does some contracting, asked for their card because he was so impressed. They were true professionals, clean, trustworthy and took their work seriously. I felt perfectly comfortable having them in my house for a week with a key and alarm code. This was huge because we had to move out while the work was done. There are not enough good things to say about these guys and their work!!!

Magnum flooring is a great company. Matt and Michael are co-owners and have seal of approval from Home Builders Association. They were extremely professional, punctual, did excellent work and seemed happy the whole time they were here. The dust-free system they use is actually dust free- I couldn't believe I didn't have to clean for hours with all the sanding they had to do!They actually do all the work themselves so you don't have to wonder who else may be wandering through your house. We were perfectly comfortable with them and had no reservations leaving them alone in our home each day.The finished floors look great and far exceeds our expectations!

I cannot say enough positive things about Matt and Michael. They had great pride in their work and were very pleasant to work with. Always friendly and very helpful. We are very happy with our flooring and get a lot of compliments on it. We were also very impressed that they would come back to refinish it for free if we were unhappy with it. I recommend them to everyone I know. Don't even bother getting other estimates!
