Crews showed up promptly, were very professional, and cleaned up all of their mess. Overall, they did exactly what was requested. I would hire them again for any tree work needed.

Louisville Tree Service was friendly when providing the initial quote but slow to get the work scheduled. Understandably, our first appointment had to be rescheduled due to weather. The crew showed up the next day but were unable to start the job because they were unaware that a lane of traffic would need to be blocked off. This was frustrating because it's obviously something that should have been noted when the quote was done, but all was forgiven when the owner called himself to apologize. On Saturday the crew showed up and promptly started the tree removal, but then found that at some point the tree had grown over a metal fence that was not visible and there was metal in the trunk. We were not home when we got the call saying that the crew could not complete the job because it required a stump grinder which they did not have… and would have to be back the following week. This was frustrating because our quote included stump grinding so it seems like equipment they should have brought. I insisted that they finish the job and was told I would get a call back. There was no call but I arrived home to find everyone just left. When I called the gentlemen back he apologized and said they would return that afternoon. The job was completed later that day and the work was satisfactory. The multiple delays were extremely inconvenient for us because, as was discussed with multiple people at Louisville Tree Service, we had a picket fence built around the tree that had to be pulled down right before the tree removal and needed to be reinstalled immediately after in order to prevent open access to our backyard.

Please note we provided you the quote on a Saturday, therefore, traffic was not as heavy making us unaware that traffic would be an issue on the day we scheduled your job. Obviously, the weather is a huge factor in our line of work and it is frustrating for all parties when we have to cancel and reschedule jobs due to rain. This is for safety reasons, as well as, for the general health of our crew. Although, we were unable to complete your job due to the traffic and our equipment blocking the road, we came back out the following day to complete the job. It is standard procedure for all stumps to be ground out at a later date as it is a different crew and different equipment. However, we had our stump grinder come out that same day, on a Saturday to have your job totally completed. Afterwards, all 4 of our crew members that were on your property were infected with poison ivy and had to receive steroid shots for relief to work the following week. With the multiple trips to your home, the overtime for our crew to work on the weekend and the medical costs for our crew members due to the poison ivy, we believe we did everything possible to perform your services to the best of our ability. We apologize that you have stated you would not use our services again in the future, however, we wish you all the best for any future tree service needs you may require."

Great, there were several stumps right up against the fence and they got 99% of it with a grinder, and with one swing of an ax that 1% was gone. When we cleaned up it looks great!

Weather played an issue with having the work done. The gentleman who performed the work dug up plants he thought would be in the way and placed were they would be safe. He made sure one spot was ready for a new tree to be planted. He cleaned the areas and sidewalk of all debris.

Job was completed fully and professionally within one week of purchase. No additional cost for job to be completed as I wanted which has been an issue with "hidden charges" on other deals available on Angie's List that I have purchased. Would definitely recommend this company to others and hire again.

The company removed two trees, a butt stump, cleaned all the dead out of three huge trees, ground the stumps, cleaned up the mulch and hauled off all the wood. They were great from start to finish...great price...great guys....fast and thorough. Would recommend them to anyone

I am very pleased with my overall experience with this company. The gentleman who performed the service was very professional, friendly, and careful while doing his job. This was a very large stump that was located in an area that was not easily accessible. He never flinched and provided assurance that he could get the job done the way I wanted, and he did. Very good price for the work performed.

The Owner, John, came out to do the estimate. He is extremely knowledgeable - obviously a professional arborist. He quoted what I felt was a very fair price. Hired... The crew arrived on time, asked what my expectations were and began working. I paid for a half day of trimming and they worked a full 4 hours. Great results, they cleaned up all of the debris and made some suggestions for future work. My next door neighbor was impressed too, she is going to have them back for some work in her yard. I will definitely hire them again.

We discovered a wood-******-damaged tree on the verge of falling onto our house. Angela and Brandon were extremely quick in responding to my call. The tree was assessed and a team was out the same week due to the urgent nature of the damage. The tree was surrounded by other trees and very difficult to reach with equipment. The team leader and his members were very skilled in getting the tree down without damaging any other trees. I'm extremely satisfied with the work done by Louisville Tree Service and the price paid.

It was not a great experience. It was not good at all. They say they will come out and I would come home early and they just would make an excuse and not show up.

"Mr. [Member Name Removed]'s job was a prepaid stump job. Two hours for $150.00. With stump jobs we let people know they do not need to be there because the stump grinder foreman has his own schedule. Sometimes stumps take longer than expected so we let customers know whether he will be there either morning or afternoon. Also, if it rains, we do not grind stumps because it makes a muddy mess. If we are not coming, we ALWAYS let the customer know we need to reschedule. I am sorry Mr. [Member Name Removed] did not think we did a good job. I am not sure why he thought the price was not good, he got a discounted rate by buying the package. And as far as quality, either the stump was ground out or it was not. If there was a miscommunication about not being there at a certain time, I take full responsibility as the owner for my staff. Again, with stumps, we let people know either morning or afternoon unless there is a reason the owner needs to be there. Louisville Tree showed up on time and did an excellent service for what I paid. I would hire them again. There was some question however with when the time started for the service. The coupon I bought was for 2 hours of stump grinding service. When I set up the day of service I was told by their office personnel that the 2 hours starts when they leave their last job or when they left their shop. This could be a problem if your location is pretty far from where they are coming from. The advertisement on the site makes no mention of this. Either way it worked out fine for me. Thought the advertisement was a little misleading and needs to be changed so the buyer know exactly what they are purchasing instead of finding out after the fact like I did.

The crew arrived within scheduled time frame and the went right to work. They had to use the neighbors driveway and yard to get to the tree. They placed wood down to minimize any impact on the yard (there was no ruts or damage).The large tree was near the house and fence and they brought down the branches with precision. They had both trees down, chipped, and cleaned up in about 3 1/2 hours, it was quite impressive to watch. My neighbor was watching and hot an estimate for his trees. We talked and he said he really liked the job the did (particularly since much of the work was done from his yard.
Overall they did great work, the guy that came to do the estimate was friendly and informative, and calls to the office to schedule and answer questions were followed up nicely.
