Dr. McNulty and his team at Louisville Eye Center are the greatest. I wear gas permeable contact lenses, and not every eye doctor can fit them. Dr. McNulty knows the best manufacturers in the world (!) and had mine made in the Netherlands. He worked with me until I had the best possible vision and comfort with my lenses. All of the staff that I met were very friendly and professional, too. I highly recommend this group!

I had gone to an urgent care center for help with a case of red eye that would not go away. The doctor there told me I had conjunctivitis and that I should throw away my gas permeable contacts and have a new pair made. He gave me a small sample of antibiotic drops that did not help. I was reluctant to discard my gas perms, so I made an appointment at the Louisville Eye Center. Dr. McNulty performed a detailed evaluation of my eyes and told me I did not have an eye infection. The problem had to do with tear production and inflamed eye lids. He gave me a prescription for eye drops that took care of the condition very quickly. Dr. McNulty also measured my eyes for a backup pair of eyeglasses. He took the time to find out how I'd be using the glasses (mostly computer work) so the prescription would best fit my needs. Up until now, I'd been resigned to dealing with eye doctors who are gruff, dismissive, and seemed to hate having to deal with patients. Everyone at the Louisville Eye Center was pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing eye care. The office is a bit hard to find, so leave a few minutes early for your first visit. There is a Walgreens Pharmacy near the US 42 end of the shopping center. Louisville Eye Center is behind the Walgreens.

He is really good. I think he has been listed on Angie's List too, before. I am way overdue, but I just don't have any bucks. I am two years over right now. I know if I go that's where I am going because he is the best from what I have experienced. The overall experience is very good.

Dr. McNulty and all of the staff were great. Everyone was extremely friendly, and Dr. McNulty was great at explaining things and talking through the process. One of the things I liked best was that he didn't just tell me what he was prescribing, etc. He actually took time to explain why he wanted to make the changes he did and what I should expect.

He's very good. He's very professional and very knowledgeable. The staff is very nice and easy to deal with. It's pretty easy to get an appointment with him. He seems to be a little expensive, but you don't want just anybody looking at your eyes. I feel very comfortable with him. I've been using him for about 10 years. I've never had any problems with a prescription he's given me. My eyesight is poor and I've never had any problems with them taking care of me.

I was pretty sure I was not seeing well and hadn't been to an eye doctor in years [since my lasik surgery many years ago]. Scheduled appointment with this provider due to angie's list reviews and was able to get new patient appointment scheduled very quickly. I saw Dr. McNulty and was taken back for my appointment very quickly. The initial person I saw was a woman [sorry, can't recall her name] and she was very friendly and thorough and went through many of the ophthalmology exams to provide Dr. McNulty the values and images he needed for my visit. I saw Dr. McNulty very quickly, little to no wait time when she was done with her exams. He was incredibly friendly and explained everything that was going on with my vision. He even went back to look at some deeper imaging when I had something concerning in the first set of images. I was VERY impressed with the level of exam - felt like much more than basic optometry - truly impressive visit. I will absolutely be a loyal customer for the doctors for sure!
The glasses selection is very nice, but pretty pricey. I did buy glasses from them and they came in very quickly. I would buy from them again, but I am sure you could probably get cheaper glasses elsewhere. Still, if you like a nice looking [And name brand] selection, you will enjoy theirs.

The appointment was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Dr. McNulty took his time and performed a thorough eye exam. He was very willing to answer all my questions and seemed genuinely concerned about my eye health. I also ordered glasses as my prescription was outdated. They have a great selection of designer eyewear. Prices are $$$$ but the styles and selections are very fashion-forward. I will definitely go back to see Dr. McNulty. It feels greta to finally find a great Doctor with a pleasant personality!

His explanations of the conditions and how to care for my eyes was thorough as well as helpful, and I am very grateful. He is very good about answering questions and offering help. After I made the decision to not wear contact lens, he went out of his way to explain to one of the opticians in the office the problems I had been experiencing with glasses so that the optician could work with me to get the best fit in glasses as possible. Dr McNulty provided excellent care with patience and kindness. I will continue to see him for my eye care and would highly recommend him to anyone! I always go there but my insurance is steering me to another provider now. I have gone there for years so I have had a relationship with them. They did a fine job but I am prevented from going to them now because of insurance purposes. I was able to get in with them pretty quickly in the past. I have seen both the optometrist and the ophthalmologist there.

I had a great experience! From Sally at the front desk, to Laurie who ran all of my initial tests and got me prepped, to Dr. McNulty who conducted my exam....it all went really smoothly. They were very friendly, but professional. You can tell that it is a well-managed office and that they know what they're doing. I couldn't ask for anything more. Also, one of my pet peeves to sit around and wait when I have an appointment and they took me right in and I never waited around, which is a big plus in my book because I hate wasting time.

Dr. Rosengarten is very professional, very knowledgeable, and very kind. He never makes you feel rushed during his examination -- but that creates a small problem. He will talk with you and answer questions without rushing you, so if you have a lot of questions or have an issue that requires detailed explanation the people who have appointments after you have to wait. But, to me, it's worth it because he gives everyone his undivided attention. I highly recommend Dr. Rosengarten!

Their office has the option to use the optomap machine rather than get your eyes dilated - I chose the optomap option and was thrilled with how non-invasive, quick and with no side-effects it was! Just a little light into your eye and that's it! After the preliminary testing, Dr. McNulty came in and finished the eye tests. He has great manner with patients - very calm and informative. It was a lovely experience all around.
