Commercial Wood Fence Installation
Lancaster installed a privacy fence and a new deck/porch for me. Both are beautiful and extremely sturdy. Great work!

My experience with Lancaster Fencing was far from satisfactory. The quality of finishing work done by the owner was surprisingly below standard, featuring issues such as nails sticking out, uneven wooden spindles, posts left full of holes, missing screws, bent and retro-fitted hinges, the list goes on. Despite clear agreements documented in text messages, the company failed to follow through with requests. To avoid so many repeated trips, I asked to do walk throughs before he would leave. I also requested to review hardware options before replacing the retrofitted fit set, as I had something specific in mind, but did not know what was available. I was assured I could view them beforehand, but the owner came by and swapped them out without asking if they were what I wanted. I was so frustrated to come home and see he would done that without permission and immediately reached out to tell him that was not what I had in mind. His wife told me to buy the pieces myself and he would fix it. I had to reach out to get him to come back and he came to my house upset, incredibly unprofessional and wanting more money to fix his mistake. He left without addressing the issue he created and sent a text reading, I have delivered a high-quality product that I am proud of. I am sorry that you do not agree with that. At this point we need to end our relationship. I wish you the best of luck While he may be proud of his work, high-quality and professional are not adjectives I would use to describe the work or experience. As the customer, my voice was repeatedly ignored and in the end, I was yelled at and belittled. The product was explicitly NOT what I asked for or wanted, but I guess was the quality he felt I deserved. I have photos of the work and screenshots of the text exchanges to support my claims. While the crew was fine, the owner conduct was shocking. His behavior was inexcusable, and I would not recommend using their services.

"We only charged this client for the privacy fence and the chain link section of the fence. We did not charge her anything for the dog run that she is claiming pictures of. This was a solution to try to make her life easier that we offered at no charge in order to give her dog a direct exit from the house to the back yard. But even at that, the client made several design changes after the dog run was installed. In an attempt to go above and beyond, I adjusted the run at no charge several times. Additionally, I installed new gate latches at no charge, even though there was nothing functionally wrong with the latches. The first time I changed them, she complained that the latch was too difficult to open. Then, I switched to the other standard latch that the industry uses, and she complained that it was too easy to open. I am trying to illustrate how difficult it is to satisfy this client. The conflict came after she continued to complain about design changes that she was unwilling to pay for. As I told the client, we have provided a high quality privacy fence that we are proud of. I would contend that I could show any new client this job, and they would agree. All of the micro issues that she is showing in these photos (which are very hard to see), only exist because she made design changes. So here is what I can offer, I can remove the dog run at no charge, but since she did not pay for that portion, there is no refund due."

Easy process from start to finish. Owner came out for estimate, very upfront about process and pricing. Helped with setting up financing for the project. When my turn in the queue came they notified me and had the project completed in a single day. I am very satisfied.

This company knows what they are doing and they get it done on time. He did an awesome job. I have not seen a person work as great as he did in a very long time.
