I contacted the company by phone to come give me an estimate on paving my gravel driveway. The owner came out and assessed the work to be done, take measurements, etc.  After negotiations we arrived at what I thought to be an acceptable price of $1800. I had no experience with this type of job so I didn't know for sure if that was reasonable. Anyway, he told me exactly how the job was to be done. He scraped the gravel off the driveway then poured the asphalt. He said he would put about 3 in. of the product down. After they left and I went out to inspect it and it did not appear to be close to 3 in.  My neighbor had his driveway done at the same time so I asked his opinion and he agreed that it was not as much as we were told. After a few weeks several significant cracks appeared in the asphalt and the product had many places where the asphalt was rough. About half of the drive was uneven and now the gravel underneath is coming through.  I made several calls to the owner. When I finally was able to talk to him about the problems he said he would come out and inspect it. He did not show. Another time I spoke with him he said someone stole all his equipment (several pieces of heavy duty trucks, etc.) and he would be out when he got them back. I never heard from him again. The work was sloppy, subpar and very unprofessional. The crew left their trash in my yard and the owner seemed to be miffed when I asked him to pick it up. I am so sorry I used this company, a lesson learned.  I would caution anyone looking for a paving contractor to run far away from this one.  A scam for sure!.

The crew came and worked efficiently and finished the job in a good amount of time. The work itself at the time looked fine, but when it rained days later, there was a lot standing water and that had not happened at all before they paved. We contacted them to come back to look at the standing water and ask that they remedy the paving for better drainage and the company's owner agreed. We were going on vacation the following week and they said they'd come out while we were gone. We left for a week and came home to no additional work to the driveway. We called again and the owner said the company was very busy and would fit our work in between bigger jobs and that he didn't forget about us. We keep calling and calling and calling and get no response. We should have sprung the $500 extra for the other company who came out for an estimate. This company's a joke.

There were problems from the beginning when he didn't show up on the agreed start date. During the course of repaving the drive at my primary residence he left ruts in my front yard from a piece of heavy equipment and burn spots from hot asphalt. All tolerable and I repaired both. However the finished job was far less than satisfactory and the contractor even agreed additional work needed to be done. It was uneven with loose asphalt in several spots. This was at the end of the week so he promised to return on Monday. Of course he didn't but I was able to reach him by phone and he promised again to return and complete the additional work. Again he was a no show. After that I couldn't reach him because his cell phone had been disconnected. I was finally able to track him down this spring in southern Indiana and I reached him by phone. He made up same lame excuse as to why he hadn't contacted me and again he promised to fix the driveway. I've now called him 6 times, but no return phone call. In the meantime the condition of the driveway has worsend to the point where it's disintegrating and literally turning into gravel. The old drive underneath is also beginng to reappear in several spots. This guy is a real bum.
