She has used them for a long time, and she likes the service, and the friendliness. The prices there are fair.

Very professional and courteous staff. Did a wonderful job in the time and dollar amount they estimated. My new go-to place.

I have no complaints about work or the people. Seemed to do a good job, and the waiting room was clean and comfortable.

My car was leaking coolant and overheating. I took it to Ken Towery, only because it was close. They looked at my car and told me I needed a new radiator and a new thermastat. This was going to cost $650 but they brought it down to $600. Being a woman I felt like they were trying to take advantage of me! It just didn't seem right that it needed a new radiator, because the radiator was staying full with coolant. So I decided to pick it up and take it some where else, they were not only rude but charged me $50 for looking at it! I ended up needing a new thermastat only, where I got it taken care of at J Town Auto Center! I will never use Ken Towery! I have been driving my car for a week and it is running perfect! They just try to get more money out of you if you don't know any better! BE CAREFUL

Made an appointment on line and it said tires in stock. Didn't have appointment and tires weren't in stock.
Their attitude was sort of and quot;so what'...

Our intent was to simply replace 4 tires. In addition to the tires, we ended up paying for a wheel alignment, which we were told that we needed (although we weren't having any "symptoms"). After leaving, we noticed a $68 charge had been added to our bill for "tire protection plan" which had not been discussed with us, and also a "shop supplies fee" of $5. The manager credited back the $68, but not the "supplies" fee. On our first road trip in April, we noticed wheel shimmy at 65-75mph, and had to return in May to have tire balance corrected. I had to ask for a copy of that transaction. I returned 3 weeks later due to continued problems with vibration at high speeds. Again, I had to ask for a copy of the transaction. After 2 return trips, the problem with tire balancing seems to be fixed.

Took in car with leak of oil and/or antifreeze. Towerys did an oil change and an and quot;engine analysisand quot;, and put dye in the oil because they couldn't determine where the oil leak was . Two other shops found a leaking valve cover gasket immediately with visual inspection. Towerys missed a radiator leak completely, and seemed more interested in selling me a tune-up and other services ($1000 worth!) than finding the problem I was concerned about.
Towerys seems OK for oil changes and tires, but not so much for engine work requiring diagnosis. Had the engine work done elsewhere.

Pro: Good personal interaction. Reasonable price. Both front rotors/brakes were shot.Con: I specifically asked for them to save the rotors for me to look at (and they agreed to) since I really didn't believe (out of stubbornness) they were ground down but they forgot to save them. Moderately frustrating but overall good experience.

The problem was with my daughter's car. She was going to be leaving town for college and the car was shaking when you stopped. When in to the store 30 minutes before closing time to see if I could get the car looked at before we left that weekend. The person was very helpful and said they were finishing up the cars they already had but could look at it first thing in the morning. Asked to drop it off early the next day. He advised they don't open until 7:30am but could drop off early. My daughter arrived at the store at 7:00am and they had no problem taking the car and giving her the estimate to fix the issues. She was able to get the car in and out by 10:30am. For the amount of work that had to be done, the time frame was wonderful.

Only issue has to do with a coupon that was not applied. It was brought to their attending and the corrected immediately. They employees were very helpful and respectful.

Very responsive and courteous. Their pricing isn't as good as Tire Rack's, but I didn't have time to mail order. My only quibble was that they didn't secure the spare cover in the trunk and they left the jack handle and other accessories that store in the spare well just floating in the trunk. Minor issue: I really liked how they treated my wife and daughter.

I needed new tires after a blowout. I called my local Ken Towery (Hikes Point location) early on a Saturday morning and they told me to come down right away, without an appointment. They were very professional, explained all the choices I had and made a recommendation for my new tires. I am a very heavy interstate driver (at least 2,000 miles a month), and they took that into consideration in making a recommendation. I had done some online pricing, and the tires the tech recommended were right in line with what I expected to pay.

After replacing the tires, they also pointed out some recommended services and optional services -- I liked that they split them out that way so it didn't seem like my car was on the verge of falling apart if I drove it off the lot without doing everything they suggested. When I asked for them to show me the problem with the brake rotor, the tech immediately took me to the car and pointed out the wear and answered all my questions.

I was very pleased with their quick service and attention to detail. I had mentioned I had noticed a slight oil leak -- they detected that problem (loose oil pan), tightened it up, and topped off the oil.

Their price on my tires is guaranteed to be the lowest in Louisville for a year, and the tech also found some coupons and rebates to help reduce my bill. Getting new tires and brakes is not cheap, but I am very happy with their service. I will recommend Ken Towery to others.

The price for tires was much better than Big O but even though I had made an appointment it still took about 21/2 to 3 hours. During the time they worked on my car, they said my front struts and brake lines needed replaced and quoted a $1000.00 price. I didn't have them do that work. I researched the prices they quoted for the parts and bought them at Autozone and had another mechanic install the struts I purchased. It turned out that the brake lines were fine. It all cost $280.00. I would use them again for tires only.

Had some issues with cleanliness of my car when picked up, my radio being tampered with, my seat being jacked up all the way against the steering wheel and when an attempt was made to re-center my steering wheel, it drove much differently. Then a week later my front brakes began to pulsate really bad from being warped, which is usually from not torquing the lug nuts down properly, not from driving in the rain like I was told by one of their service writers. I went right to their website and sent a very negative survey. The story turns here...I was contacted and asked to bring the car back in so they could look at the driveability issues and once confirmed, they would end up machining my front rotors, re-aligning my front end and they even paid for a new tie rod end, which it needed. My car drives and stops just as it should. I applaud their effort to correct the issues I had and the quality of the work "at that time", however more focus should be on getting the job done right the first time. I would still recommend them, they have the best prices on tires if you don't have a wholesale connection and although there is a slim chance you'll have a similar experience as me, they will at least attempt to fix whatever they did wrong.
