KEN TOWERY'S AUTO CARE CTR

We were just looking at convenience, they provided a finance program through Goodyear financing. My first impression of them was good.

We were right at $600 for five tires. I've used Ken Tower for several years.

They are all individually owned. I wouldn't recommend the one on Dixie Hwy, that's all I would say.
I have a 2010 Volkswagon CC and they supposedly changed the water pump out in it and it was still leaking. I took it to the dealership and found out they changed out the wrong water pump because that car has 2 water pumps. They refused to do anything about it. They were also supposed to change the oil in my car, which came with a tire rotation. There was no sticker on my car as far as the oil being changed. The tires are not rotated, I know this because I have a scrape on the front tire rim, and they argued with me on that. When I checked my car oil, it was 2 quarts low.
I had my 4 runner in there to change the oil on Monday and my motor locks up on my on Thursday. They are not helpful. I would not recommend them what so ever.
Taking the car to the dealership you would think it would be more expensive but it was cheaper and they changed the right waterpump. The guy was nice and cordial but he did not help me.

On June 28, 2013, I took my car in for an alignment. Once they had it on the rack they told me I needed new tires; that the tread had separated on one of my tires. I knew my tires were reaching the end since I had about 45,000 miles on them. I purchased 4 new tires and kept the best of the old ones for a spare. I also purchased the road hazard warranty for all of the tires. They also helped me set up a payment method (same as cash) for 6 months. Two weeks later I had to take my car in because one of the tires was too low to drive on. They fixed it saying it was leaking around the rim. About two weeks after that I had another low tire. This time they showed me the rim and said it was leaking at the stem. They fixed it again. I don't think they would have charged me even if I didn't have the road hazard warranty but I really hated to take the time to take it in. They were very courteous and helpful but I wish all the issues had been taken of when the new tires were put on.

They tell me what I need to know and stuff that I did not know before. So, that helps.

I made the appointment to have the oil changed and my tires rotated for Feb. 28, 2013. It took a little longer than I expected but they were rather busy that day. Chester Davisson, the store manager, advised me on the type of oil that I needed for my car. He also discussed the wear on my tires.
I purchased my tires from him a few years ago. The best thing I did was to purchase the road hazard warranty at the same time. I don't remember the cost of the warranty but I have more than used it up. If I run over a nail or have a problem with my tires or just lose air, Chester is always happy to check it out and fix it...free. When my tires were rotated they also checked the air in my spare tire.
I feel Chester is very trustworthy. I'll keep my business there.
