I lived at Jamestown for 1 year with 2 roommates...3 of my friends lived on the first floor in the same building as well. This was the most awful place I have ever lived...and from what I've heard recently, it hasn't gotten any better. When we first moved in we had to schedule a walk through with management to look for anything that was already damaged or anything out of the ordinary that was there before we moved in. This walk through never happened. Each time they never showed and they just told us they would be in the following week. Any time something was broken, they told us they would have someone in to fix it and no one ever showed up. Our dishwasher stopped working and the maintenance man came and removed the bottom rack and put it on our counter and told us to use it as a drying rack because he didn't know when the correct part for the dishwasher would be in. It was a month later before it was fixed. The AC never worked properly and it was constantly hot. The people who work in the office were the worst. They were extremely rude and made everything seem like it was our fault and they had nothing to do with anything that was wrong. The pool was always closed for "renovations" and we were told it would be open in a month or so...which didn't happen. I spoke with someone recently who lived there last year and they said the pool is still not open....4 years later! My friends who lived below us were told they would have a 3 bedroom as well...this consisted of 2 bedrooms and a 3rd room that did not even have a wall. It was like an extension of the living room and management told her she would have to pay to have the "wall" installed! They eventually put in 2 large doors to act as a wall which was absurd and did not block any sound or light whatsoever. They also had a leak in their bathroom from the apartment above them and the maintenance came to fix the problem and left their bathroom with a gigantic hole in the ceiling and all kinds of dirt and debris in their bathtub. They were unable to use the bathroom for the remainder of their time there and had to share 1 bathroom with 3 people. I would never ever recommend this place to someone looking for an apartment!

It is kind of hard to get into. They are completely updated. They are modern apartments. Their location is perfect, it is easy to get downtown, or wherever you work it is just easy to get there. It is a town home. Their prices range from $700-1000.
Description of Work: Jamestown Apartments is where my 20-year-old daughter is living and those are really good apartments.
