Wonderful experience overall. Quickly came to the house to provide a free estimate. Their staff was friendly, efficient, and had great ideas for design. The doors are fabulous, well-made, and add a GREAT eye-catching addition to our Old Louisville home. Will definitely be using they for services in the future!

All appointments were kept, the company representative was professional and helpful and the installation crew was on time and explained their work carefully.

I had used Iron Crafters before to install a hand rail on our front steps and gave them nearly all "As". This time their quality of work was very good, but their responsiveness was very poor. The steps were for my parents home. After the initial visit to measure and provide a quote, the salesman said he failed to take a measurement and would need to return. It was decided that he would stop by the next time he was in the neighborhood rather that set an appointment, as he only needed to take a quick measurement and did not need to meet with anyone. When I didn't hear from him after nearly 3 weeks, I called him and he said he had forgotten it. He promised to stop by that week, but when I didn't hear again by the next week, I called and he said he hadn't gotten to it. I was close to cancelling the order, but he did stop by that week. Then it took nearly a month for the rail to be installed. The rail was expensive, but good quality. I will probably use or recommend them again, because I will give them the benefit of the doubt and think that the first job they did for us was more the norm for them.

No pressure when contacting them.....they were responsive, and I felt like their price was fair.  (I had another estimate for about twice the cost.)  The installer showed up at the agreed-upon time, and was finished in about a half hour.

There were a number of options I could have chosen, but I am very happy with the railing.  The railing was made according to my decisions, therefore there was a reasonable wait.  The installation was very quick.  I am very pleased.

A truly custom job with great attention to detail.  Kim came out and did detailed measurements for the fabricators and worked with us on finish color.  The installers did an incredible job and finished off the exterior rail, which was made in several pieces, to be smooth and continuous.  We are really pleased with the results and it enhances the look of our home as well as making it easier to navigate the outside steps.

I called and they had someone out within a few days, the owner's wife was prompt! They did a great job.

Very professional.  Helped us choose appropriate railing to fit with exterior of house and our budget.  Estimated 4 weeks for railings to be custom-made, but they were ready and installed in three weeks.  Installer was on time, very friendly and courteous and completed work in about an hour and a half. Very happy with finished product.

They did a super great job and I'm very pleased with the outcome. When I first called Iron Crafters, I talked with Ben Eaves who came out on 3/25/14 to take a look at the porch/stoop and give me a quote. He told me the railing would be ready to install in 2-3 weeks at which time he would phone me for an installation date (4-10-14). Ben is perfect example of how a representative of a company should be - not pushy and easy to work with. The installer was also great - very efficient, very qualified, thorough, and neat. My definition of a qualified employee.

They were very punctual in providing a quote, arriving at the exact times and date they said they would.  They said it would take 2-4 weeks to make the banister and it was done in 2 weeks.  They had a very good selection to choose from and the quality of their product and their installation was exceptional.  Their price was reasonable.  I would definitely use them again and will not hesitate to recommend them to others.

It went very well.  When I called to make an appointment for an estimate, one of the owners came to my home the next day.
The estimate given was reasonable and the final price was exactly as quoted.  The handrails were installed approximately 4 weeks later by a very professional and efficient person.  I love the look that they added to my home and would recommend them to my friends.

Iron Crafters showed up for the estimate & measurement when scheduled. Quality product installed in a color to match other railing & home. Only have good things to say about the experience. Would definitely use again.

It went great. They came out and measured and found out what exactly I wanted. Then had it custom made. It took about a month and then they installed it very quickly. Made sure it was exactly what I wanted, and it was. I am very pleased with the quality and the service.
