A shingle had been blown away on our roof due to recent rain storm. Upon close inspection, I noticed an animal had chewed away at each of our roof vents, including the adjacent shingles. I called the roofers who originally installed the roof in 1997. They inspected the damage and recommended new vents and adjacent shingles be installed. I made an effort to reduce their estimate but without much success ... giving me the sense that he had quoted a good price for the job. The crew (two) showed up when scheduled and went to work completing the job in an efficient manner. One of the crew recommended tuck pointing and re-flashing the chimney. He, in my estimation, was correct, but really overstated the problem. I later contracted a mason to do the work.
Description of Work: Replace five lead wrapped roof vents and adjacent shingles that had been chewed and damaged by squirrels. Replace one shingle lost due to winds. (Used Shingles saved from the original roof replacement).
