They were responsive to my needs, had excellent communications, performed high quality work as scheduled, within budget and cleaned up after themselves.

Precise estimate by Daniel, who explained several challenges. Delayed beginning of job because leaves still had not fallen. Crew arrived on-time and performed job exactly as estimated.

The top gutter run is 30' up, the other gutter run is 15' up. Both are half-round, galvanized metal with strap hangers (no fascia board).  Contacted Highland Roofing through Angie's List. Gerald Shelburne did estimate, arriving on time. Gerald did a good review of the old, rotted gutters. Gerald made an imaginative recommendation to solve problems which caused our old gutters to rust out.  The estimate was reasonable, particularly considering the height of the top run - not all companies carry insurance for 30-foot heights.
The crew leader, Mike, arrived on time. Most impressed how Mike reviewed the specifications again. Real teamwork to be sure the customer gets exactly what they are expecting. Mike communicated well, asking any questions if he was not clear on an issue. (Our gutters are relatively unusual, but the style was used in the Highlands on other houses.) The crew really surprised me when they inspected the other gutters. Very impressive.
The only negative encountered was the crew did not have a magnetic, roofing-nail remover to be sure nails were not left on the driveway and yard. Mike used a broom to sweep the drive clear of nails and debris.
Overall, I learned that guttering is a complex issue. The time Gerald and Mike took sharing their expertise, knowledge and experience was matched by the thoroughness of the job. We will definitely be using Highland Roofing to clean, inspect and maintain our gutters in the future!

It was great. They came out, took pictures of it, showed me exactly what needed to be done, told me what they were going to do and then did it. They corrected the problem. They were willing to do a small job and did it well. I would use them again.

We had a leak somewhere on our roof that was causing damage to an inside ceiling. We called two other roofing companies and they would not even commit to coming to look at it. Highland Roofing said they would call back within two weeks and make an appointment. They did as they said and came promptly at the appointed time. They found the spot, explained things fully, and gave a reasonable bid. Their workers returned two days later and fixed the roof. The workmen were prompt, polite, and professional. We will definitely call Highland for our future roofing needs.

I have been very pleased with this company, They have an overall great quality of materials and personnel. It does takes awhile to get on the list because they are so busy, but it is worth the wait. I will be using them for any future projects.

I contacted them via telephone and discussed what I needed.  They came out while I was at work and took measurement and provided me with a bid.  I accepted a short time later.  Then they completed the work, again while I was work.  The process was very simple.  Overall took about 1 month.

They were excellent.

We live in a 1920 house and it has the original concrete tile roof. It is very unusual and they are the only ones who have it. I don't know the cost because my husband dealt with it. They do excellent work and they have worked for us but they just won't touch chimneys. I just called them and they said that they don't do it. They are very expensive and I would only use them if you had an unusual roof. They are known for being the most expensive but they are the only ones we can use. We have the most expensive roof possible and we have no choice because nobody makes concrete roofs anymore. They do quality work.

They were really good. They worked every day for a couple of weeks. They cleaned up really well and there was nothing left in our yard.

6-8 guys showed up each morning at 7:30 am and worked hard until 3:30 daily. They cleaned up each day so that you wouldn't even know they were there. In fact, they started working on Friday before Father's Day. I had a bbq in the back yard on Sunday and didn't have to worry about nails and soot or our gazebo and lawn furniture being in the wrong place. Additionally, our home is on one of the narrow streets in the Highlands - and on a hill. There is no way to approach the house without walking up 10 steps - the guys never complained. They carried all their garbage away. The guys working at Highland Roofing are professionals.

It was one person doing this project. He did show up on time and completed the job in about 1 hour. He was very nice and checked out the rest of the roof for me, as well. I was pleased with the work. The shingles seemed to match the rest of the roof very well. You could not tell the difference.

They were extremely expensive but I have some really nice box gutters. In fact, every time we have company I take them outside just to show them my box gutters. The best part about it all is my roof no longer leaks. I really like the job they did. They were also very polite and professional.

IT WAS EXCELLENT SERVICE. THEY BROUGHT TRUCKS AND THEY STRIPPED OFF THE OLD ROOF. THEY GAVE ME A CHOICE OF SHINGLES AND THEY ALREADY HAD THEM ALL IN STOCK SO I COULD CHOOSE WHICH ONE I WANTED. THEY CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY. THEY FINISHED IN ABOUT A HALF OF DAY.

THEY WEREN'T ON TIME. THEY TOOK FOREVER TO GET IT DONE. THEY WOULD BREAK FOR LUNCH THEN YOU WOULDN'T SEE THEM FOR A WHILE. OTHER THAN THAT THEY WERE PRETTY GOOD. IT LOOKED LIKE THEY DID PRETTY GOOD WORK, THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING AS THEY WENT.

THE ROOFING PART OF THE COMPANY WAS VERY RESPONSIBLE AND PROFESSIONAL. BUT FOR THE GUTTER PART, THEY WERE NOT VERY RESPONSIBLE. THEY WERE NOT ON TIME AND NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL SO IT WAS LIKE DEALING WITH TWO DIFFERENT COMPANIES. THEY WERE JUST TOO UNORGANIZED TO DO BUSINESS WITH AGAIN.
