Very professional and great quality work! From the blueprint drawing layout, it was everything that we hoped for and more! Our particular need involved a loved one coming to live with us, and we needed to expand our liveable space. I felt they took a personal approach in helping us with ever little details and also keeping us well informed along the way. I will definitely be using Harris Construction again in the near future for my home improvement projects!

They started the project on-time, (early, in fact), and worked every day. They worked quietly and efficiently. They were respectful to us and our neighbours, for example they stopped working when someone walked by. The results are better that I imagined, Of all the vendors I have hired in my lifetime for all kinds of projects, I am the most pleased with this one.

Concrete Driveways & Floors Installation
Brian did a fantastic job. He put me in front of other jobs because I needed the driveway done so I could get the home rented. He suggested to put a sealer on the work which really makes the driveway look great. He even moved some dirt around in my yard to get rid of some low spots which the previous owner's dog had created. I would recommend Brian for any work needed. He also has a great personality.

Had trouble getting job completed took almost a month and a half then when they poured the wall they ran short of concrete they had to go to Lowes to buy ready mix 17 bags the top of the wall was not level and even had to be patched in a three foot area were they had ran out of concrete

"Sorry, Tim we strive for perfection and are saddened we didn't satisfy you. We put up our best efforts to complete this job under the conditions this was in a rural area so it was hard to get a makeup load of concrete in time when we were just a shy short, so we hurried to the nearest hardware store to grab a few bags to assure we finished the small area on top of the small area of wall before it could make a cold joint the job turned out great besides this. We appreciated the callback a year later to install your new driveway and were happy to see you were pleased with the finished results! We have pictures of these jobs posted here on Angi"

Harris construction was a very bad decision. They were late from the very first day. I was never a priority for them. They did only enough to get by and used people on the job that are not qualified to do the job. Their communications were practically non existent and it would take days for a callback or reply via text. I wish I never hired them.

"Sorry Vance you had this problem. The original start date was on hold cause it turned out this was not a basic building permit to pull, this room addition was a historic house, which delayed the start date an additional month and a half. This was difficult for the customer because they were on a schedule to move out of a house which we were not aware of till the contract was signed we added a 2-story room addition and only performed the exterior build. The customer took on all his interior finishes, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting drywall, tile, etc... Our part stayed fairly on track for a total of 2 months. Sorry for any inconvenience."

Good quality but poor customer service in the beginning, he finally came back out and repaired the cracks but i need to give it time to make sure the repair holds.

Brian always called me and let me know what his schedule was and when he would arrive to start work on the driveway. Brian and his guys worked hard each day they were here during extreme hot days that made conditions very difficult. I appreciated Brian's attitude and him communicating to me continually and following up his word with his actions. I greatly appreciate your crews hard work and dedication. Good job.

I just want to warn all you folks that are thinking about hiring Brian of Harris Construction to be very careful. He doesn't stand behind his work. I hiring in Sept. of 2015 to add a front porch onto the front of our home with a stamped porch. I must admit I was impressed at first and gave him an outstanding review at first(BUT) By may of 2016 I was calling Brian to inform him of the cracks and of the sealer coming off the concrete. Always had to leave messages, If I did contact him he was lie and say I'll be there and then not show up. I have every message sent to him and his response. In Dec. of 2017 he finally showed up to put a band aid on the all things that was wrong only because I filed a complaint with the BBB.He used a black permanent to cover the place the stain came off, which actually made our porch look worse. My wife won't even go out on the porch because of how bad it looks. The can lights that was installed, the wiring that holds the bulb fell out and I had to finally hire an electrician myself to fix. His never showed up to fix. I will never refer Brian again. He doesn't stand behind his customers and believe me I'm not the only one. The thing is I would have never believed Brian would do this to one of his customers. He had great references that I talked with face to face. Brian has lost his way!!!! Be very careful!!! I'm terminally ill & disabled and we did this project for my wife so we could have front porch to sit together on once she retired. Now it will have to be replaced and she will have to work longer for us to save the money. Very disappointed in him!!! He ruined my wife's dreams!!!!

"We our sorry about this problem. Initially Mr. Prather was one of our best reviews on HomeAdvisor upon inspecting the repairs we could not see the crack he discussed per our conversation, after he pointed them out it was a hairline crack on the concrete bordering in front of the stamped concrete slab at the time we were swamped with work, we are working on scheduling situations like this in a more timely fashion. We repaired and resealed the stamped concrete patio with 2 coats of high gloss seal. This is a beautiful front porch-covered patio with stamped concrete we have the pictures posted on Angi."

This was a huge project for us and we have been saving forever to get our driveway done. We really liked that Brian took the time to come back a second time to answer more questions before deciding what to do. He was able to start our job right away which was great for us. He did a fantastic job and even came on Saturday to complete everything. They cleaned everything up when they left including sweeping up some rocks in the street. He showed up again on Sunday morning to check on the driveway. His employees were also very nice and friendly. We love the driveway and cant wait to start using it. I would recommend Brian anyone and have.

I recently inquired to Brian Harris about potentially redoing and expanding our driveway as well as creating a patio area in the back yard with stamp and color. I got 4 quotes before deciding to proceed with Brian. I chose Brian b/c he had a very good record from previous reviews on Home Advisor. He definitely lived up to what everyone had said about him and he did amazing work! I am very happy with the work he did and I will use him again in the future. I would highly recommend Brian.

I've used Home Advisor for a couple of other projects (kitchen remodeling, deck repair, etc.) there is always a bit of trepidation on any new hire. Harris Construction provided everything I asked for in way of references and meeting price points and I have to say this was the best buying experience I've had with HA or Angie's List for that matter. Harris Construction was responsive, professional and most importantly did what he said he would do when he said he would do it. I have crisp edges on my concrete driveway and beautiful scoring as well. Curb appeal is important to me and Harris Construction enhanced that considerably. I totally recommend these guys for any concrete projects you have.
