I used HARPER'S CHEVRON

Harpers re-sealed the valve cover and there is no more oil leaking on my driveway. They also replaced the drive belt. Now my car does not shake when I am stopped at a stoplight. The service was fast and fairly priced. I will go to Harpers when I need future service.

They have excellent service and I'd recommend them to anybody. They do all the maintenance on my cars. I'm paying for the battery when I go in for an oil change tomorrow.

We still use them. They're the most honest place I've ever ran into around here. They are strictly auto repair.

The owner is Harper. They have two locations and I go to the one on Bardstown Road. They are extremely accommodating and very professional. They never ripped me off. They tell you upfront what the cost might be. If it is different than that, they will call and let you know what the difference would be. They will even recommend not doing things if don't think it is really cost effective for your car. I am a very good customer of theirs and I have been going to them for years. So he always squeezes me in. It is a very busy place. But you have an emergency, he will accommodate you. They are very good and they do very good work.

They are honest. They do what they say they are going to do.

We've been taking our cars there for more than five years now. Good people, good work. And I know for a fact that they don't do any "unnecessary" work. Here is just one (quite memorable) experience of several that lets me say that with confidence: One day my car suddenly started making a terrible, really loud grinding sort of noise; I was miles from home and Harper's and thought the car was going to die and possibly take me with it any minute. When I finally pulled into Harper's they quickly discovered that a cover from behind the dash had fallen down and was rubbing against the road! They zip-tied it into place - no charge.- and didn't even make feel stupid for freaking out. I really appreciate having dependable, competent mechanics who I know I can trust.

I have been going there 3-4 years. I absolutely love the place. They really take good care of my vehicle. They will really go over the car to make sure that they spot any potential problem. They will tell me how long I can go without having to actually do something. They are very upfront about quotes on prices. I have never had any problems with hidden charges.
