I had received a flyer from Graham which described their philosophy, which I liked. So decided to give them a call. I had water on the floor of a small bathroom that had wet the carpet in an adjoining bedroom. I couldn't identify the source and my house is on a concrete slab with water pipes under the concrete. Sam Graham responded pretty quickly and spent about 45 minutes analyzing the potential sources of the problem and how to fix it. I trailed along with him and he didn't seem annoyed by that-I was impressed with how he analyzed the situation. He finally said he couldn't specifically identify the source but thought it was unusual that water would appear on the surface since pipes are below concrete. He thought the problem was probably under the sink vanity where the pipes come up through the concrete to the sink faucets. He said he could remove the vanity to verify that as the source but, if it wasn't, he would have to search more. Therefore, he suggested going into the wall(s), capping off the copper pipes, replacing with PEX pipes, and rerouting PEX pipes through walls rather than up through the concrete. Because of the layout of the pipes, his men had to cut through the wall of an adjoining closet, jack hammer concrete across the floor, cut into the wall of the adjoining bedroom and route the new pipes to the sink faucet and toilet. Once the new pipes were laid into the jack-hammered trench, the men reconcreted the floor. Since Graham's doesn't to remodeling, I hired a construction company to repair the walls. During that work, they found water damage to the vanity cabinet and removed it to replace it with a new vanity. Under the vanity was standing water, which validated Sam's initial thought that the leak was under the vanity. Graham's repair took care of the issue and I've not had a leak there since.

I don't know if I would use them again. I am kind of on the fence because I just recently tried to call them and they didn't call me back. They have always been good, but  I don't know.

Graham's has done other work for me in the past. They have always been punctual. They are professional and go above and beyond to make sure the job is done to the highest quality standards. They took extra care in cleaning up their mess before they left. They are also reasonably priced.

My daughter and I had reset a toilet which continued to leak.  We called Graham Plumbing, thinking he would know better than we if the leak was the wax seal or a cracked toilet. My daughter was present when he came on time, reset the toilet without comment, and left.  The toilet continued to leak.  When I called him back, his only comment was, "You need a new toilet."  I will not be calling him back because on the two occasions he came to my house and talked to him on the phone, he was sullen and uncommunicative.

In fairness to Graham's Plumbing, please note that I did NOT ask for an estimate of what this service call would cost prior to the arrival of the service man.  Called him on Weds. at 2 pm, left message.  Got return call at 5:30 pm asking if this was an emergency or could he come the following morning?  I said fine, come Thursday morning.  Waited until 1:30 pm when I got a call saying he'd be here in 30 minutes.  I told him I'd already opened the drain line and cleared the trap below the garbage disposal.  I'd run a hand snake down the line for 10 feet until I couldn't get past a turn in the line.  All I needed was for him to come in and use a power snake to clear out the drain.  A young man (not the owner) arrived at 2 pm with the power snake.  He ran it down the drain, cleared the obstruction, and used my tools (I offered them, easier than going out to the truck for his) to put back in the drain line. He checked for leaks and was done.  Whole process took 15-20 minutes whereupon he billed me for $145. I told him I thought that was high and he told me his boss required him to charge the full amount, regardless of the time it took. Was that reasonable?  I don't know, I just remember other plumbers (not the big guys, but the independent plumbers) cutting me some slack when the job went this quick.  I expected to pay about $90, but maybe those days are gone.

He was faster than he initially said he could do the job, showed up when he said they would be there and always answered my phone calls or text messages.   His price was considerably less than the company that said they needed to go under my driveway.   He was courteous and professional.   I would highly recommend using this company.

The plumber was punctual, adhering to the schedule they identified. The plumber came in and fixed the leaky faucet. He then started to repair the pipe under the sink. His associate came and worked with the plumber. The plumber left and had his associate complete the job. It was well done.

I have used Graham's Plumbing for several years and they provide consistently high quality service at a reasonable price. On this particular job, I needed a toilet installed. I had not replaced shut-off valves in the eight years that I have owned the property and know that over time they calcify and deteriorate; so I had them change out the valves before they went bad. Two of Sam's crew came out and completed the job in a couple of hours. They were courteous, as always, and cleaned up after themselves upon completion of the work. Graham's Plumbing has replaced a water heater for me on a rental property and shut-off valves at that property as well. They give you the option of getting the water heater or toilet from them or they will install one that you provide.

Crew were very diligent in removing the previous unit, and modifying the connections to fit the replacement unit.  Everything fit fine.

A same-day call back for "no pilot light", brought an immediate visit, and unit has been working fine ever since!
