My window is still leaking after four tries I’ve had nothing but disappointment with Gilky I got windows in my whole house and one window I’ve been fooling with and they’ve tried to replace the inner glass four times and it still having moisture in room in my window frame, I got a hold of the guy named Kelly that I guess is a management and he got real smart with me and said do you want us to help you or not and I’m like yeah after four tries you’re going to replace the window and he says no we’re not! So if Mr. Gilky has time to run a company he needs to have time to take care of the people he screwing over someone needs to get a hold of me immediately my number is 502 5006787 !

It went great! I had used them previously for a window installation several years ago, so when I needed a new door I knew I wanted to call them. They were on time, back their work and products, and cleaned up well after themselves. I would highly recommend them to others.

It was okay. They installed the windows and the door and that was fine but they broke the door bell when they put the door in. They said that they would come back and fix it, and we have called them a couple of times but they just haven?t done it. I think we are on our own to fix the door bell. We did a lot of shopping around and that is a reasonable price. The only thing we were unhappy with was that they broke the door bell, and they seem to be making excuses at this point not to fix it. The product is good. They showed up on time.

Update: Gilkey did return and fix the doorbell, so problem resolved.

I have used them for 10 years. They are perfect. It didn't cost anything because, they are under warranty.

The job turned out to be excellent.  The quality of the window stood out to me.

Had new windows installed in our sunroom. The techs were experienced and did a great job with the install. Brian, the manager and Steve, our salesperson are top notch and we feel confident that should ever an issue arise with our windows, it will be promptly and professionally fixed. We highly recommend Gilkey.

I checked them out with the Better Business Bureau, and I also went to their showroom and to 3 different places. I selected them. I have been pretty pleased with them until last year when one of my windows got stuck when I had it down while cleaning it, and I couldn't get it up or down so I had to leave it up all night so they can come the next day. They came out the next morning. Their price was competitive with the other prices I have received from the other 2 companies. They were punctual. It was a really good person that put them in. He was experienced with 25 years of service and he did a good job.

Our house was broken into November 13. The door was completely ruined and so we contacted Gilkey and Renewal by Anderson. RbyA called us back and told us straight away that they wouldn't be able to provide a door to us for at least 6-8 weeks. Didn't even waiver or discuss. Gilkey sent over a Sales Rep the next day. He was great! Had a great personality and was understanding of our urgent situation. He made honest recommendations for what we should get. He promised the door could be created custom and delivered to us in 4-weeks (with a rush order - no extra cost). He also gave us the deal of getting triple-pane for the same price as double-pane. All this sounded too good to be true. The cost was around $2100 for a triple-pane sliding glass door and installation. But it wasn't. The door arrived a few days before the full 4-weeks. It was a custom fit to our door opening and had the triple-pane glass. The men that came to my house to install were the best. They were friendly and took time to talk about the door. We love our new door, it is a real upgrade to what we had before. We LOVE Gilkey and will continue to do business with them for all Windows and Doors!!

Wonderful experience from beginning to end. This day and age that is saying a lot. The salesman wasn't aggressive but informative, thorough and professional.  He called a couple of days later for a follow up to see if I had any problems or complaints. The installers were early for the appointment(not heard of)and were professional, personable and efficient. I was surprised when they finished with the windows because they cleaned up inside and out and vacuumed my carpet. I have found that the new windows are very sound proof and my house is better insulated. So far, I love my windows and have absolutely no complaints and if I do, I'm confident that Gilkey will take care of them. I would highly recommend Gilkey.

Due to the expense of replacement windows and our budget we had it done over a 3 year period.  We checked out most companies and found the prices only varied a little but were sold on the salesman who was low-keyed, informative and spent quite a bit of time with us.  Because we were having them done over a time period they said that the color would always match and it did.  They were professional in the installation and we were satisfied with the workmanship.  A few years later we noticed that one of the windows was developing a small hole and causing some fogging as a result.  They came out and without any problem replaced it with a new one.  Another window casing was damaged by a tree during the "hurricane" a few years ago.  They were out within the week and repaired it immediately.  We've been very satisfied with the windows. service and installation that Gilkey has provided.

We have used Gilkey before in a previous home to have windows replaced and had a great experience with them so we gave them a call for 2 doors with half round windows above them to have replaced.  Sales rep was very punctual and pleasant to work with.  When he quoted me the cost of these doors and windows I was surprised on how high the price was.  He stated the half round windows (which were 3 ft across by 2 ft high) were almost $900.00 each.  I felt that was too much.  He explained it was not the window that costs that much, it was the labor to make it.  I really did not believe it was that much but I do like the quality they produce so I placed the order.  On installation day the crew showed up right on time.  It took them over 6 hours to replace 2 doors and the windows.  Crew seemed to take a lot of cigarette breaks which led to the length of the project but overall they did a good job.  I am pleased with the quality of the doors and windows but I do not believe I got my money's worth on this project.  My home has a lot of windows, 47 to be exact with 13 of them being half rounds (and larger than the one's I had replaced already).  You can do the math of how much it would cost to replace them all.  If I need windows replaced in the future I will definitely call them for an estimate but I will also bring in some competitors as well.

The sales representative was very helpful during the ordering process.  Gilkey uses their own employees (not subcontractors) to do all of the work.  The doors were installed quickly and very professionally.  The installers took the time to properly install, insulate and refinish both of the door systems.

liked everything about them. I would recommend them for windows. They were fine; they did a good job; and they cleaned up the mess. The windows that they installed were great. They did a great installation. I will use them again in the future.

The job went well.  Everything went off just as they said that it would be.  They took the measurements for the doors and then ordered them.  The time they took was less than what they said that they would take.  The people who came to work for us were personable.  They were neat.  They did a good job.  I would use them in the future also.
