GE CONSUMER & INDUSTRIAL

We bought a GE built-in oven that kept burning interior lights. I can't keep a light inside of it and it was gas also. It was ugly and it didn't work very good. It didn't bake evenly so I ended up just giving it to Habitat for Humanity because they wouldn't do anything for us. GE wouldn't back it and the dealership we bought it from wouldn't back it. They don't give any customer support. They'll send out a guy -- the repair man -- to change out a light bulb. He says there's nothing they can do about it and then they'd send us light bulbs to change out ourselves. Another thing too -- the guy that installed it -- they did not really know for sure what they were doing because they were trying to find the shut-off for the gas port and in the process they turned on other valves and didn't shut them back off. We had a gas leak outside that flooded inside the house. I was out of town at the time. My neighbor had to come over and figure things out for my wife and get the house aired out. It was pretty bad. I don't think they have really good installers. They were nice, but not real professional.
