When I got there, the representative was very apologetic and said their Volvo guy left last week and he wasn't comfortable doing the repair. This is probably a $2000 job and I appreciated the honesty instead of trying to do something that might have ended badly. I'll keep checking back to see if they get another Volvo mechanic, and will definitely use them in the future.

Had to have my car towed there when they were closed. They squeezed me in and charged me less than their quoted price. Will be back.

My dad has been an auto mechanic for more than 55 years. So, I know a good shop from a bad shop. These guys are professional and charge reasonable rates.

A good mechanic can be hard to find, especially one that is fair and you trust. I trust Gates Automotive.

Had my kids Drop the Car at his shop while I was out of town and told him ahead of time to fix what it needs, the car had several things like squeaking pullies, cruise control, brakes ect, he called me to confirm what he found, Charges were in line for a 2005 with 100k miles. He also mentioned things that may need work in the future but were ok for now which I really appreciate. I dont trust many service places, but I DO TRUST Gates. the Final charge was exactly as expected.

I would ALWAYS prefer taking my cars to GATES ove the dealer service department.

I have dropped in there several times for little things, to check the tires, etc. They never charge me and they are always so nice. If I ever need repairs, this is where I will take it. They did it very quickly also, I just waited while they checked my car over.

I left my car today for service. I have used their service in the past, about a year ago. They do what they say. Their prices are fair. They have the car ready when they say it will be ready. It is very personal and friendly service. They explain what they are going to do, and making easy to understand. I would use their service in the future too.
