Appliance Sale
I reported the damage to the retailer immediately. The retailer set up a service call to repair the oven. They even sent me the email confirmation. The repair date came and went. Nobody showed up, no phone call, nothing. I called the service company and they stated: GE knows we don't do warranty work for them. I called GE customer service (oxymoron) and was told they have NO service providers in my area which is Southern IN the Louisville Metro area. I called my retailer in a panic and was assured the oven would be fixed. A different service company was set up and they did show up. I was told the door would have to be ordered and they would return in 2 weeks to do the repair. The day before the appt I received a call from the service company and was rescheduled since the part was not in. A new appt was set and as of this writing I have not heard from anyone and the oven still is not repaired.
