I called Frank based on Angie's list reviews. Frank gave me a fixed price of $80 per recessed light, supplying the wire, and we were obtain the light fixtures. I called Frank based on Angie's list reviews. I explained we had blown in insulation in the ceiling, and he said that would not be a problem. We scheduled a date and he and two helpers show up right on time. It took 4 1/2 hours to install the lighting, including removing the existing fixture. They were extremely neat and careful to minimize any falling insulation. They cleaned up all debris, and you not have known they had even been there. We also had them install a dimmer switch for the new lights, and install an extra GFI breaker on a wall as well.

They were punctual, affordable, and pleasant. I would definitely use them again. A bunch of 3 way switches were bad and replaced, and they fixed some connections in other fixtures so the lights would stop blinking. It all was done quickly and they were very nice to work with.

Frank and his son are great. Very professional and a true pleasure to have in our home. The always took the time to explain what they were doing and why and to answer all of my questions.
I appreciate their efforts to keep the cost down and to give us options.
Frank and his son are a small operation. They take the time to do things right. I enjoyed listening to them discuss various problems they encountered. There is a great deal of respect for one another. They listened to each others ideas on how to address problems. I think we got a better product because of their discussions with each other and me.
Our general contractor brought Frank onto our project. He told us he would bring great people to our home and he was sure right. We will being using Frank on future projects.

Work was completed in a timely and professional manner. Despite a complete inspection and estimate prior to the work, there were additional problems found that needed to be addressed. Frank offered economical solutions - without cutting corners.

A little better communication would have been nice before the initial visit, however overall they did an amazing job and were very knowledgeable. I gave them a list of what needed to be done and let them get to work. They then showed me that everything was working before they left along with other helpful information needed.

My original appointment was for 11am on July 1st. They called and asked if I would move my appointment to 1pm and I agreed. At about 2pm they still hadn't arrived so I called and they said they were on there way. At approximately 2:45 pm they showed up and I told them what I needed done and they got to work. They completed the job at 4pm and did a good job. I had the two hours of electrical work for $99 angie's list special. If there were two people involved it was for only 1 hour instead of two. We agreed on 1 hour and 20 minutes work plus parts so it ran another $88 on top of the $99 I had already paid. Good job at a good price, the punctuality was the only issue.

The work was done as part of the Angie's list big deal, 2 hours of electrical labor for $99 from Frank's electric. Before the appointment I called and shared the specifics of what needed to be done. This included
- 1) Removal of a residential surge suppressor
- 2) Replacing an outdoor GFCI outlet
- 3) Replacing damaged electrical wire inside a can light
- 4) Inspecting and repairing an electric wire damaged during remodeling
Chris came out the day of the appointment and as promised, called me an hour before arrival to make sure there was someone home. He later mentioned that he does that because he has had instances where he showed up for the appointment at the agreed time but no one was home. Chris was courteous and professional. He even asked if he could keep his footwear on or if I preferred he remove the same.
He outlined what he had found and explained the work. All of the work was done quickly and correctly and he moved from one task to the next without any delay. I was very happy with his work. Will use them again.

First appointment was lost apparently so there was a no show but rescheduled for the next day first appointment.
Arrived at the agreed time and completed the install. Reviewed the invoice and the work that was completed. Very professional. I will call them again.

Nothing in our house is easy. Every contractor that opens a wall, looks in an outlet or checks the faucet is amazed at the poor workmanship of the previous contractors or homeowner. WIth that in mind, I was very happy to watch Neil and his father Frank tackle some difficult wiring scenarios in our home. It took Neil a few minutes to make heads or tail of the previous work but once he had a plan it was executed quickly. They do great work.

"It was actually fun working on the living room. Frustrating at first, but it was a challenge to figure it out, and I always enjoy a good challenge. By the way, i did a quick a search for home generators, and google showed that sears had one one sale for $376, 3500 watt. That was a pretty good price for one that size."

Neil Champine and his father, Frank, performed the above work in my home on June 20. I had a number of misc. electrical issues that needed correction, as well as a new Nest thermostat installation. Neil arrived on time and set about his work in a knowledgable, professional manner and had the thermostat installed in short order. This was my greatest concern as improper wiring may well have damaged an expensive thermostat, not to mention a board in the HVAC unit. It was up and running in remarkably short order. He troubleshot, and repaired the ceiling fan (which had been previously improperly wired) and installed my dining room light, while his father, Frank, replaced the necessary outlets. I'm having renovation done on my house, and Frank happened to notice an outlet, with the plate removed, in the Dining Room that looked a little odd. As it turned out, it was poorly installed and would likely have caused arcing the first time it was used. He corrected it.
The bottom line is that Frank, and his son, Neil, are on my quick-dial for any future electrical needs. They both explained what they were doing, and why, while they were working (much appreciated as my house is older, with older wiring), and they both are truly delightful people. They're the whole package, and more than worthy of my recommendation!
