Matt showed up very promptly for the estimate and when we started the job, they were very reliable. Both Matt and Tim are excellent craftsman. They pay attention to the smallest details. They spent a lot of time prepping the subfloor so that I wouldnt have any squeeks. My house is 60 years old, and its nice to have a quiet floor.
These guys came in and out of my house for 8 days and I always felt safe giving them my entry code.
They worked a lot of hours on this job because they took such pain staking time to make everything tight.
Finally, they put stain and 3 coats of Poly on the finished floor. They spent a lot of time prepping the wood by sanding and buffing to get the most even finish. It totally exceeded my expectations. As I told them, "this floor is a piece of furniture ! I dont have furniture this nice in my house :) "
Finally, I would say they were very clean. I didnt see dust on anything. And when they left, everything was cleaned and swept even the grass where they were using a table saw.
They are very competitive and reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent! Scott owner of the company is a professional as well as an artist he did a great job on our floors. He is prompt, honest, hardworking and takes pride in his work. His co-worker Tim is is hardworking, professional and a pro at hardwood floors. We are very happy with our hardwood floors and fully recommend them! A friend at work and a relative of hers had work done by Scott and Tim and she recommended them to me. We had a great experience with Falcon Hardwood Floors and I am happy to recommend them to you! Pictures to follow!

It was awesome. I highly recommend them for any hardwood flooring job whether that be a new install or a refinish . If they can do my job, then I think they can do yours. I can't say enough about these guys. They were neat and cleaned up after themselves. I have zero complaints. I got a superior service for my money.

Started on a Monday and finished on Friday, 3 people working. I was very pleased with the work and it looks great . Had a few hiccups on the stair treads but resolved with no issues. The crew put in long hours the whole week to get it done. I would use them again on another project in the future.

As I said above, Matthew showed up very quickly for the initial estimate. He assured us that he could get the pet stains out, something I had thought was not possible and would require wood replacement. He was very passionate about his work and showed us photos of previous jobs and of his own home, whose floors have become a showplace for his skills. The photo that convinced me was of a floor with dozens of pet stains - the "before" was a real horror show, and the "after" was beautiful. He explained that he sands out such stains and feathers the area back into the surrounding floor. We also had a small burn area in front of a fireplace; he doubted that he could sand out such a deep imperfection but he said he could try. He and Tim showed up on time and got to work soon after we agreed to the price. The pet stains did sand out as Matthew had said, and the raw wood looked great. The burn area also sanded out. My wife and I had to leave town before the job was done, so we left keys for Matthew and Tim and they finished the job while we were gone. We all felt this was a good idea anyway, to avoid the poly smell while it cured. We returned to gorgeous floors and no mess in the house. Falcon guarantees 99% dust-free work, and they came through on that claim. Matthew showed up on the 23rd to get the balance of his fee, and we asked him to leave extra quarter-round so we could finish the remaining edges after our trim work is done. He didn't have enough with him, so he drove to the supplier and got what we needed, then he left me with sealer and poly so I can treat the raw oak before I use it.
All in all a superior job by two real craftsmen. We recommend Falcon without reservation. In fact, I asked Matthew to leave me some business cards so I can refer him to friends.

PROS:-I received a prompt estimate-I was scheduled within a prompt timeframe although it was told to me that larger customers (builders?) had priority if they happened to call at the last minute.-They showed up on time and gave an accurate estimation each day on their progress; stayed true to their word.-Floors turned out beautifully. -They performed an extra section of toe-kick molding in a curved location that was unexpected and not part of the required agreement--this was a nice bonus.-Extremely polite workers and very trustworthy.
CONS:-There was no budge on price after attempts to negotiate.-It seems that with a semi-gloss finish, the sealant turned out a bit thin. They pushed high-gloss and I wanted semi-gloss, so perhaps the difference was due to my own choice.-Unfortunately, a piece of furniture on my back porch that was moved by them to access the circuit breaker box, fell at some point and broke my storm door. They said that the couch fell on its own, but who really knows, since I wasn't home to witness the event. I didn't make a big deal about it since they aplogized sincerely. I was disappointed, however, that they didn't knock at least something off of the price. The storm door cost me, due to its custom size, over $800 to replace (no exaggeration). While the storm door was old, it worked fine and I didn't have plans of replacing it any time soon. Accidents happen, but I would have expected at least a small concession.

When Matt, the company owner, came to our house, he really impressed me by showing examples of his work by connecting his camera to our TV to view. he showed photos of refinishing and installation work (I was VERY impressed with his inlay abilities) and thought is was great to have someone take enough pride in his work to show it off to the world.
The job went pretty well. As previously mentioned, the floors in the foyer were so bad that it was we ran out of planks to use to replace the ones with holes. In addition, there were boards that had dry rotted. After a little discussion over price and time, we decided to install oak hardwood over the old pine. Once stained, the foyer floor came out great!
The refinished floors in our upstairs came out even better than we hoped! We started with 111 year old pine floors that had been painted over several times, holes, deep chips, and very worn planks. Matt was able refinish these floors while leaving the old look we wanted (dark lines between planks, lots of grain, satin finish). We had a little issue with the fact that we had two different types of pine that didn't match up while replacing planks (we couldn't tell the difference until they were refinished), but Matt was able to stain them pretty close.
I was thoroughly impressed with the work that Falcon was able to perform, particulary with the condition of our floors. Matt even stated that they were some of the hardest floors he had ever worked on. It did take a little longer than we originally thought, but that was due to unforseen conditions and issues. There was VERY LITTLE dust, which I found hard to believe, and very little smell. These guys really know how to work on old floors and I would recommend them to anyone for refinishing or new installation.

Matt did his first work for me in 2005 when he installed an oak floor in my living room with the purpose of providing a dance floor to practice and party in my home. Two years later he installed a simple pergo hardward floor at my recommendation at a friend's home in Indiana. I was extremely pleased in both cases and the floors remained in super condition. Consequently I did not hesitate to recall Matt 6 years later to install a tiger wood hardwood floor in my dining room and hallway. Matt set a timeline and acttually finished the work within the timelines he set. He arrived on time daily, and minimized interference in my daily acttivities while he worked. He is extremely trustworthy and I gave him the keys to my home so that he could work while I was away on a trip for several days. There was no dust in the house whatsoever. Every floor that Matt touches becomes a "work of art" and he executes with perfection regardless of whether it is a simple floor or a highly complex project. The floors are trimmed neatly around doors and closets and I have never had to call Matt back tto fix anything. He does it right the first time. Despite his high skill level, his prices were extremely competitive in every case.

They were great. We spent maybe about $4000 on that service. They were outstanding. Their estimate was accurate when they showed up and they showed up when they said they would. They did good work and completely and thoroughly did it. They were done when they said they would be done and the work was just stellar. They were also professional.

I could not have been more pleased. After being completely blown off by several other companies who stood me up for estimates and others who gave me ridiculously inflated estimates, Matthew and crew were prompt, punctual, attentive to detail and thoroughly professional. They completed the job in a timely manner and produced a beautiful result. Additionally, when they left after finishing the job, the house was spotless. You couldn't even tell sanding had occurred - no dust anywhere. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
