During the initial visit i was basically checking out the clinic to see if that is where i wanted to take my pets. The vet was great. he answered all my questions and was more then helpful. I was able to get a prescription from them to get some flea medication for my dogs. I left my last vet because she refused to write me out a prescription and tried to force me to use only the pharmacy that she has an agreement with.
I figured i would not see the vet again for a while since the dogs were up to date on all their shots and stuff but a few days later i feared my chihuahua had a blockage. So we were back there. they checked her out and gave us some medication to help her. They called the next day to ensure she was doing ok and after another visit to the vets we got her all fixed up.
Even thought i was a little over protective of my pooch, they didn't belittle my concern. they treated my worries at valid and listened to all my concerns

We have used Doerr Animal Clinic since relocating to Louisville. I can't say enough about how wonderful they are with our animals. They are very thorough and they communicate well with me any treatment given. If I had one complaint it would be that the services seem a bit high. Our last visit was for an ear infection and it cost me over $190. Plus there is a follow up visit which will cost an additional fee. But we have our dogs groomed here and they are absolutely wonderful with them.

I use them every year but just once. My son picked them up during the week and his dog was there for a week so he paid part of it. They have a little couch and a TV for the dog to listen to. They take them out and give them treats. Even if I am gone I can have a video chat with my dog if I wanted to. I have to pay extra for all that and they do so much. The standard is that they do take them out twice a day and offer treats. My dogs like to watch TV all the day on the couch and be comfortable. These things make them feel they are at home. It means a lot when they are in a strange place. That place is great. They call a day before anytime I have a vet appointment. Anytime the dog has been there they call a day after to see how little Julie or little Henry is and they are great.

I can't say enough good things about our vet!! Your pets will thank you!!

First, they are extremely cheap! Secondly, they are absolutely amazing! Dr. Turns is so kind and my dog *LOVES* him! They have always been able to answer all my questions...even those that where probably silly. During her surgery they called me with updates and made sure she was comfortable! I brought her home the same day and you couldn't even tell she had surgery! She has a harder time at the groomers than she did getting spayed and having nasal surgery! I have had animals my whole life and been to many different vets but this one is a true gem!
