Chimney Repair, Chimney Cap Service
He installed a cap on the chimney and removed and repaired the top 3 rows of bricks. Within 4 months the bricks fell out of the chimney and the mortar came out, which caused a leak in the house. I had other contractors who looked at said the work and said it was incorrect because he used concrete instead of mortar. They said the cap didn’t cover the whole chimney and work was shoddy. I will have to have the work done all over again so I won’t have any problems this winter. I did contact him and he came back out but he seemed a little hostile on the phone and even threw the bricks in my flower beds. He never corrected the issue fully.
