Cook's Appliances

I called Cook Appliances and set up appointment. Jeff came by the next day just as he said he would and was on time. Very knowledgeable and made efforts to really find out what the issue and then tested it to make sure that was the issue before repairing something that did not need fixing. He moved out the refrigerator and repaired my issue that was stopping water to get through to the ice dispenser. He replaced a couple parts and I emptied out the ice bucket and it was making ice right away without leaving water everywhere on my kitchen floor. I could not have asked for a better experience. If I have any more issues I will certainly be calling this company first. They operator gave me a time they would be there and the technician Jeff also called ahead of time to tell me he was on his way to my home. I can not imagine regretting giving these guys a chance to fix whatever your problem may be.

The company was back up when I called. I was to be the 10th appointment on next day which meant late in the afternoon. They called 30 minutes before arriving. Quickly determined the issue and corrected the problem. They checked for any warranty recall while there. Would recommend.

They got someone over right away to look at it. Unfortunately for me, my 2 year old Sears Kenmore French door fridge was completely dead. The price I had to pay to find that out was reasonable for the service rendered.

He had to add a part to it. They are great. I have had them out about 3 times and they are wonderful every time. They are a family owned. They have have been out to our rental property as well. They are honest. I was really impressed with their company.

They are awesome.  We called them then called back like two minutes later.  They came out the next morning and defrosted the refrigerator for us.  They bought a part and put it on.  They did that same day.

We have used Cook's for years and they never cease to impress with the quality, professionalism, and extra effort. I had an older stove and the parts were not readily available. Betty went out of her way to find a part for me and got me a couple of extra years out of my relic. I use them for everything I can and I think their prices are completely fair and honest.I

I called them on a Monday. They made appointment for Wednesday morning.
Showed up promptly. Spent about 30 minutes diagnosing problem. Did not have part with him so had to charge me $45 for initial visit. Tech (Jeff) said he would call me later in the afternoon if he could locate fan. Otherwise would have to return on Friday.
Called around noon. Said he found fan.
Returned around 12:30. Replaced fan/filter and was gone by 1:30. Charged an additional $250.83.
The tech was prompt, friendly, and professional.
My only complaint was that bill does not itemize parts versus labor. The total for the day was 295.83. Time spent was a little less than 2 hours. According to the internet the fan was 70.00 and the filter 30.00 = $100. That means $195 was labor including the two trips to the house as well as trip to parts distributor.
Nothing can take the sting out of the a bill like that but I think Cook's was well within line with other repair companies.
Would definitely call again.

This is a family business that we have used for 20 years. If they can't come out on the same day they will be out a day or two later. The owner always sends someone out right away if it is like a refrigerator or she'll come out herself. We have just used them forever. They do great work on repairs. We have referred them to everybody. I have never heard anything bad about them.
