Coit Cleaning and Restoration of Kentuckiana

It was excellent!! They do great work.

Poorly. The person sent to do the cleaning was unprofessional both in appearance and demeanor. When asked about a finishing spray, for which an additional fee was charged, he said he sprayed before he cleaned -- it's called a 'finishing' spray for a reason! When asked about raking the carpet he said, as he was going out the door, his rake had been broken on a previous job. The Coit office was contacted, and they agreed to send a team leader the following week to redo the job. One week later, the same individual showed up to "just spray and rake". Once again, Coit was called. The team leader showed up 20 minutes later -- he was personable and professional, and the carpet was recleaned, properly sprayed, and raked. Coit never followed up, in spite of being called three times and requesting a call from someone in charge. My experience with Coit tells me they do a poor job of screening and training their beginning employees, and that they don't care about their customers. If you're someone who invites workers into your home, trusting that they have been vetted and trained, and that the work you're paying for will be done properly -- the first time -- don't hire Coit.

Jon Gartner came out and did my carpet cleaning. He was very polite and knowlegeable. I will be calling him back next time. He did a superior job on my carpet. I know I could of found someone cheaper to do them but it always comes back on you. I know they were done right. I don't mind paying for quality. You can't go wrong with Coit!

fair price, decent turnaround time, rug came back clean and well packaged. if I had any complaint it would be that we told the man who picked the rug up we we're in the process of moving (hard not to notice with all the boxes everywhere) and that we would need the rug delivered to the new address, which he wrote down. well, with a stroke of luck we had to go back to the old place one last time to get one more thing and we saw a "tried to deliver" notice from them. once we called we got it all straightened out but I fear had we not seen that notice what might have happened.

When I put the rug on the living room floor, I started receiving bites that itched and became painful. The only thing that had changed recently was the rug cleaned by Coit. I contacted the company because I was worried about bed bugs and they did not respond. When I followed up because I was worried about others being affected, they were rude and did not compensate me for the rug cleaning amount claiming it was not their fault. I spent 2 days and a small sum of money cleaning extensively to eradicate the problem. Once the rug was removed and the area treated, there were no more problems.

It was a good experience. They are very knowledgeable and very professional. I do think their pricing is very good. They take it and bring it back. They will move furniture if it has to be moved and roll it up.

Will I was not happy about the house was still full of dust right after they left. Since then I read that the portable unit don't do as good of job as the units that are attached to the trucks and hose that come in the house.

The price was high. I would use them again if needed and the cost was lower.

I was not happy with them. I think they were on time. The quality of the work could have been better. I was not happy with what they did.

I used COIT. I was un-enthused by the guy they sent to clean my carpet a couple of years ago. I don't think I will use them again. They took the draped and when they took the drapes back, the installers, who were not the ones who took them down didn't know how to put them up. They had little puff balls on them and they didn't know how they went. They had to get a guy who took them down to come out and he knew. I had never had drapes cleaned before so I have no comparison with pricing. They looked clean to me, no spiders or anything falling out of them. The guy that took them down was very professional.
