I could not be more impressed with how professional and skilled Ryan is! We hired him to install custom built-ins on either side of our fireplace and they turned out amazing!! He gave us the option to paint them ourselves to save on time and money and I am so happy that he did! Most contractors wouldn't give you this option. Being able to do the paint work ourselves we have been able to enjoy our new home project sooner than we would have had we needed custom painters to come in, it also doesn’t hurt that we saved a little money going this route! Ryan was able to complete our total instal in a day and a half. We were so shocked (in the best way) by how quickly and efficiently he worked. We could not be happier with how everything turned out and I will be recommending him to anyone and everyone I know who needs any kind of home improvement! I highly recommend reaching out to him regardless of the scope of your project! I have a feeling we may be reaching out to him for future home improvement projects for years to come! Our previous contractor left us with less than satisfactory cabinetry. Ryan’s willingness to take on our project saved our kitchen and our sanity! I will definitely call him in the future for any cabinetry projects.

Great job and beautiful work. The table looks great and I can't wait to start gaming with it. The table had a 40 inch flat screen in the middle so that a computer can be hooked to it for using digital maps or game boards. Gaming tables like this are going to be the wave of the future.

We cannot recommend Ryan enough. We contacted three contractors to bid our office project, and we are so glad we chose Cherrywood. Ryan was very reasonably priced, had excellent follow through during construction, and completed the job ahead of schedule. He took our vague ideas, offered sound advice and solutions, and communicated an extraordinary attention to detail throughout the design and building phases. Our office built-ins are solid, attractive, and exactly what we needed.

He did a great job. Our mantel was more of a "shadow box" since we have a stone mantel that is built in to the rest of the fireplace. The new mantel looks like it was always there, and I love that my drawers soft-close now without having to pay for new cabinets.

Extremely well. The area was seriously damaged when new wall ovens were installed by Bonnycastle. Ryan was easy to work, communicated well, and I am very pleased with the job he did.

Exceeded all timelines. Built cabinets in his shop and then installed. Was able to match other cabinets in room. Very nice owner. Periodically checked in with us on our satisfaction. One minor issue identified. Was quick to address.

Ryan drove all the way out to our home on a Saturday. He took very precise measurements and taped everything out in order for me to "see" the design prior to finalizing. He told me when to expect the completion and install. He was right on time. Never had to run him down or try to figure out if he was ever coming back. He communicated with me thru the entire process. He did a great job at a reasonable rate.

Mr. Bruzan was on time and professional. The work was performed as he explained and the cabinet was perfectly built and delivered on time.

Ryan returned our inquiry call within a day and made an appointment to visit our home the next evening. He was prompt and professional. He spent a good amount of time asking questions, creating rough sketches on the fly, taking measurements and verifying that he had a solid grasp of what we wanted. He then came back to our home within a couple days with a very detailed computer-assisted set of drawings. He was able to show us exactly what we would get and made several more adjustments on the fly from his laptop. He estimated a delivery date and delivered exactly on-time. His work is beautiful! We could not be happier with the results and quality of his workmanship. I recommend Ryan for any size custom cabinet job. His ultimate price was in line with other quotes, but I cannot imagine any of the other contractors surpassing Ryan's final result. Well worth every cent!

Ryan did an excellent job on our kitchen! The cabinets look spectacular, as if they were fresh from a factory, only better. He went above and beyond to make everything perfect. His custom refinishing of our cabinets was all we could hope for. We would definitely hire again.

My countertop installation had been moved up and my original contractor could not meet deadline. Absolutely a GREAT experience. I left a message the evening before (10 PM) and received a prompt response and quote. Arrived the next day and talked me through the entire process and installed in about an hour. Very professional and made recommendations for countertop install. Would definitely recommend!!

The desk was installed exactly as described with no issues. We are very pleased with the results. Having furniture custom made allows you to build it to fit your specific needs. Ryan is an excellent craftsman and is very detail oriented.

Ryan did a fantastic job. He listened to the kind of looks we liked and made good suggestions to ensure we were happy with the final project. We wanted some things that were a little less traditional so he worked with us on the details adding metal accents and lighting to the bar as well as getting the right rolling ladder for our bookshelves. Communication was great throughout the project and we are very happy with the end result. I would highly recommend him!

Ryan was fantastic to work with! We asked Ryan to build a replacement island and range hood for our kitchen remodel. He spent a lot of time planning the details of the project, giving us options and making a few visits to our house to make sure every last detail was thought out. As a result, he built a great end product and took the time to install it properly and be mindful of the small finish details including cleaning up the work-space when he was done. Whenever I have this type of need in the future Ryan will be the first person I call.

First I want to say that Ryan was GREAT to work with. He is very passionate about his work and definitely knows his stuff. I found him using Angie's List and after our first meeting I knew we would be using his services even before we got the quote. He is very professional and easy to talk to. He explained the process in great detail and spent as much time as we needed to ensure we understood everything and had all of our questions answered. 
He also worked with our schedule and was able to complete the work for us while we were away on spring break so we didn't have to be without a kitchen with our three kiddos. He worked extra long hours and even brought in some extra help the day we were driving home just to make sure everything was completed when we walked in the door!
Our kitchen was starting to look dated and we recently installed new floors which made it even more obvious the cabinets needed a facelift. We talked with Ryan about different paint options and explained that with three rambunctious little kids running around we wanted to be sure that whatever we chose would be durable. He ensured us this could be accomplished and so far (it's been almost 3 months) everything is holding up very well. 
We also decided the cabinets needed a little extra height to close up some of the space between the cabinets and our high ceilings. Ryan created a custom design that added the height we wanted with larger crown while also working with the existing design of cabinets so we didn't have to remove or adjust any of the cabinets currently installed. 
He then created a custom window valance to connect the cabinets on either side of our kitchen sink and enclosed the side of the refrigerator so the black side of the fridge didn't stick out against the white of the cabinets. 
The doors and drawers were all removed and taken to his shop for cleaning, sanding and painting in a controlled environment. Then the entire kitchen was taped up and sealed so the existing cabinet frames could be sprayed within our home. I was worried about this step since we had just put down new floors and I was afraid of overspray throughout the house, but once again Ryan did a terrific job. Everything was covered just as if he was working on his own home and not a speck of paint was found anywhere it should not have been.
He then installed all new hardware and put everything back together. 
We walked in from a week-long vacation at the beach to a brand new sparkling white kitchen with a gray island and couldn't be happier. We have had many people through the house since the completion and everyone marvels at the fact that the cabinets were painted and not replaced. The finish is extremely smooth and looks like it came from the factory that way. 
I can't sing Ryan's praises high enough. If you are looking to have your cabinets painted or just looking for custom woodworking of any kind. I highly suggest you give him a call. You won't be disappointed. 

Ryan built a custom cabinet to use as a coat closet in our 100+ year old house.  We showed him a picture from a magazine of what we had in mind when he came to look at the space& take measurements.  He mad a 3D image of what it would look like on his laptop & gave us an estimate.  He suggested a slight change to the door trim to match our existing trim & moldings.  The piece fits the space beautifully & looks original to the house.  Ryan was prompt, professional & a pleasure to work with & kept us updated throughout the process,  He is an excellent craftsman & we would recommend him to anyone.

Ryan came by to give an estimate for sprucing up our fireplace area. Once we decided on a general idea of what we wanted, he emailed us an estimate itemizing everything so we could pick and choose which services fit into our budget. After that he came back to the house to show us a 3D image of what the final project would look like in our home. It was amazing! He then went to work custom building all of the cabinetry, shelving, and even a new wall to go over the fireplace to mount our TV. Once it was all complete, he returned for installation and the outcome was more perfect than we ever could have imagined! He paid super close attention to every last detail. He even mounted the TV for us and made sure our cable was working before he left. He definitely went above and beyond. We would absolutely recommend Ryan to everyone!

Ryan showed us renderings (via e-mail) of the cabinets before we met with him in person.  We started talking to him about the project in December but waited until April to give him the go-ahead.  Once he got that from us, he only needed time for the cabinet doors that he ordered for us to arrive.  We did request a rounded shelf, and Ryan delivered on that.  Several people have commented on how well that turned out.  I painted the cabinets to save some money.  Ryan is a class act and a real professional and I'd recommend him without any reservation.
