Just purchased an $800+ washer from Chenoweth last week only to have it break on the third wash. Called Chenoweth right away since we were obviously sold a lemon but was blown off by the manager without even an apology. Told us we had to contact the manufacture. Understandable if it was 6 months down the line, but it was on the first day of use. Inexcusable. I purposely bought from Chenoweth because I believe in supporting local business, but now I wish I would have went to Best Buy. Their post sales customer service is far superior. So disappointed.

We purchased a range and refrigerator from Chenoweth and we very happy with the service that we were provided. Going into the store we knew exactly what model of fridge and stove that we wanted and the staff at Chenoweth placed a custom order for our items with no issues. I was happy that they didn't try to sell us something that was on their show floor instead. Delivery was excellent and they even took away our old appliances. I would definitely go back to Chenoweth when we need other new appliances.

We bought top of the line GE Monogram appliances from Chenoweth. The delivery people dropped the double wall ovens off the truck ramp when they were unloading it. It fell about 4 ft, hitting our patio stone wall before landing on the patio. I told the delivery people to take it back, which they did. Wayne Lyons, from Chenoweth, called me to find out why we had returned the double wall ovens. When I explained to him what had happened, he agreed to send us new ovens. We received the new ovens about 2 weeks later. In the meantime, the GE monogram microwave oven that we had also purchased from Chenoweth appliance, quit working. We called GE, and about a week later, they sent out a technician, who determined that we needed a new board. He ordered the part and returned about 2 weeks later. All this time, we are without a microwave oven. While waiting for the microwave part to arrive, we realized that the ovens were not operating properly, so we called GE again. They said the tech would check out the ovens when he came back to fix the microwave. The tech fixed the microwave, and said that our ovens needed a few parts, which he would order and return in 2 weeks to install. We called Chenoweth and asked to have our money returned for the ovens. Wayne Lyons blamed GE and refused to return our money. We continued to talk to GE, telling them about the incident with the dropped ovens, because I thought it might be possible that Chenoweth had simply returned the dropped ovens to us. After comparing serial numbers, the GE consumer advocate confirmed that we did have the ovens that had been dropped from the truck and GE agreed to send us new ovens through a different delivery service. It took 5 months from initial delivery date for us to get working double wall ovens.

For a few months, I had been looking at dual fuel gas ranges in several places. I've purchased several appliances from Chenoweth, and I returned there. They gave me the best price, and dealing with them is no hassle, no pressure. They arranged to have the range delivered in a timely manner on the day I requested. (They contract that service out.) The range was delivered, but they were unable to install it as the company who had just installed a gas line (that day) had not completed the installation of the line. So the installer left, and later that day, an employee of the company working on the gas line installed the stove. However, the delivery folks apparently inadvertently took a connecting piece with them, so I called Wayne Lyons (owner, Chenoweth) who drove to my house (during rush hour traffic) with a connecting piece. Wayne also helped the plumber working on the gas line to install my stove. I like to give my business to local companies when possible, and Wayne always makes doing so a good deal for me.

Wayne was professional and helpful in picking out a dishwasher model that would satisfy my wife and I. The installation took longer than the installer expected due to a tile floor that was put in our kitchen (changed the height of the opening for the dishwasher), but all was completed in under two hours (normally under an hour job). The dishwasher is quiet, cleans well, and price was better with Chenoweth than the other stores we shopped...Thanks Wayne!

The pricing on the appliances was the cheapest I found. They even beat out Lowe's and Home Depot for the drop in stove. I chose a GE product and some Whirlpool products. I think they carry several other brands as well. The items had to be ordered, but they came in within a week and the install was a couple of days later. I had a problem within the first day or two with the dishwasher, but the company replaced it with a brand new unit for no charge. I found the owner to be very honest and dependable. I was definitely impressed with the company as a whole.
