Craig Breneman/Bluegrass Pavers answered my call through Angie's List to give us an estimate on a stone patio with a fire pit. He answered my call promptly and came to see our site and estimate our job. I had called several concrete and stone businesses to get estimates. Out of 6 concrete businesses called in October, 2013, I have received NO call backs as of this date (even from the ones on Angies's List). And today I saw one of the businesses I called is giving a patio coupon deal on Angie's List now.
Bluegrass Pavers/Craig Breneman made us understand that we could indeed afford a gorgeous stone patio complete with fireplace at a reasonable price. Before we signed with Craig we went to see some of his craftsmanship and were so very impressed. His work is impeccable, he has a great sense of design and detail. I had an idea of what I wanted and Craig improved on it using his wonderful sense of style.
Since we didn't start our project until late October, we had many weather issues. Craig was always concerned with the integrity of his work and we had quite a few delays. When the sun was shining and the ground was dry enough he and his crew really hit the ground running and would complete amazing amounts of work.
Craig and his crew are always neat and courteous! We liked Craig, his crew and his work ethic and finished product so much, we've already commissioned him to do a small retaining wall along our driveway.

From our very first contact with Craig Breneman of Bluegrass Pavers at the 2013 Louisville Home and Garden Show, we were impressed with not only the quality of his work, but his professional and courteous demeanor with potential customers. After making subsequent contact in quest of suggestions for a complete redesign and replacement of a deteriorating aggregate concrete driveway, which by its very position was an integral part of our home's front entrance and its overall appearance from the street, Bluegrass Pavers conducted a prompt on-site survey, taking all necessary measurements and employing the services of a landscape architect. Shortly thereafter, we were presented via electronic communications, with a proposed design, detailed estimate, and contract, all of which were accepted and an installation date agreed upon. Once demolition of our existing driveway began, Bluegrass Pavers worked for eight (8) consecutive days removing large segments of our existing driveway, redefining its borders and shape, and preparing a base for the installation of selected Belgard pavers in a classic pattern. Before the project was ever completed, neighbors visited the construction site and praised not only the aesthetic effect of the redesigned paver driveway, but also the impressive work ethics of the Bluegrass Pavers construction crew, who worked long hours in full sun, with few, if any breaks. Throughout the entire process, Craig Breneman remained either on site or accessible by cell phone or e-mail, responding promptly to all our inquiries. With the completion of this project, the overall appearance of our home has been greatly enhanced and backing our cars out of our garage onto the street has become easier, due to a suggested design modification. The classic beauty of the paver driveway itself, provides a whole new look to our home, greatly enhancing its curb appeal. Given this experience, we would highly recommend Bluegrass Pavers for any hardscape project, whether it be driveways, patios, pool decks, or outdoor kitchens. We are extremely pleased.

Overall it one of the easiest projects I've had done. No hassles, it took a couple of days past expected finish but that was due to weather which cannot be helped.

We were looking for a company that could give us design ideas and estimates for installing a landscape paver patio. We received several estimates along with suggestions. We decided on Bluegrass Pavers Company, not just for price, but for knowledge, dedication and overall good feeling when speaking with Craig the owner. He went above and beyond in keeping us informed every step of the way. He kept us abreast of any delays (due to weather only), along with time of completion. Our yard was kept neat and free of debri. Upon completion, everything was cleaned and ready to use. We would definetly use this company again. Their price was in line and in most cases slightly lower than their competitors.

They were punctual and they did quality job. If I saw a flaw, they fixed it without question. Their quality and performance were very good.

The job went great. He was excellent. He gave daily reports, he remained in close contact, he supervised the job, he did the job faster than he said he would, and there were no extra costs.

They were very responsive and professional from start to finish and competitive on price. Particularly since it was a relatively small job, which other contractors prefer not to take, it was well done. For the next job that is going to be much bigger, I would definitely use these guys again.

Quote was given with price and timeline. The only limiting factor was Mother Nature, which we all know is uncontrollable and unpredictable. However, once the project began, it was completed timely and professionally. The concrete slab patio was removed and hauled away. They even filled low spots in the yard with dirt that was unrelated to the patio. The pavers were installed and yard was seeded. The paver patio looks Fabulous! (I may not ever go back inside!)

Start to finish this company was excellent to work with. They arrived promptly for our appointment for the estimate, and since we did the demolition of the old deck ourselves, they kept in contact to see if we were on schedule to begin and arrived exactly when we expected to begin work. Workers were at our home for about 3 days start to finish and each night we received an email giving us the progress for the day and whether or not they were still on schedule for completion. The weather cooperated, and the project was completed on-time and on budget. I would definitely use Bluegrass Pavers again.
