Bluegrass Floor Covering

The original pair that did the work where pathetic. They cleaned there flooring utensils in the kitchen sink. Part of the tile came up less then a year later . The man that came this time took care of the problem. This work was subcontracted through Paul Davis Restoration. They gave me a additional 1 year warranty on the work. Which was a good thing because the tile came loose in another section of the floor . Unfortunately they won’t extend the warranty again. Best to stay away from Blue Grass Flooring and as long as Paul Davis uses them I would stay away from them also .

This was an insurance job. They contracted through Metro Restoration Services. As such, the job took longer than other scheduled jobs... The price and quality were good. The workers seemed respectful and professional. My only real complaint was the sales person, Heather. She did not seem responsive to my concerns. And, she did not seem to care for the project beyond my choice of floor material. The project had gone on for several weeks already, and my wife & I were eager to see it finished. Heather had arranged for the crew to come by Friday to finish the work, but no time had been arranged. ...Up until that Friday, Heather and I had always discussed the time frame for the crew to arrive. Also, she was the only one I had ever discussed time frames with... That Friday, while I'm working, I received a call from the crew. They were at my door waiting to get in. This was unexpected, as Heather and I had not discussed a time frame for their arrival. I expected that she would contact me, or have the workers do so, in advance of their arrival. We were not able to have the work finished that day, and we had to arrange for another day... even more time & inconvenience with this project (for me AND for the workers who were waiting at my door). When I contacted Heather, she seemed unconcerned. She stated that it was my responsibility to arrange the time with the workers. When I explained that she was the only one I had previous contact with, regarding discussion of time frames, she did not respond (we always communicated by text). I feel as though, since this was an insurance job, Heather did not feel as much obligation to good customer service as she normally would have. It's not 'the end of the world'. But, all customers should feel appreciated & well considered... With the apparent indifferent attitude toward my inconvenience, I do not feel very well considered. I also question Metro Restoration Services for its choice to use Bluegrass Floor Covering as its floor contractor during insurance jobs, as poor customer service could also reflect negatively on them.

Beautifully at first. Bluegrass was subcontracting work for Metro Restorations through my insurance company.  The installers were professional and did a beautiful job, however, the sales staff was less then ethical by ordering 200sq/ft of flooring (8 boxes @ 25sq/ft per box) when at most 165sq/ft (150sq/ft plus 10% overage or 6 boxes and part of one more) was required for the install. I felt they were playing "loose" with the actual costs calculations.  Ultimately, they did the right thing but I felt I had to stay vigilant and on guard when dealing with this company.  I would not use them again nor would I recommend them to any friends or family

We have used Bluegrass Floor Covering two previous  times; once for carpeting and the second time to cover part of  a basement floor. Tony Feldkamp had two crews - one for the kitchen floor and the other for the hall floor.  We decided to replace the entire hallway for future resale.  The men were on time both days.. about 9 AM and left at 3-4 PM.   The men removed the old hardwood floor, added screws  in the sub floor.  The floor had developed squeaks in the past ten plus years.    All floor were cleaned and all material was  removed.    The kitchen crew did a excellent job.   The floor was a floating floor.    Again, all material was removed when the jobs was finished.    The floors were vacuumed and cleaned. I would hire Tony and Bluegrass Flooring again.  Excellent job. I have recommended this company to friends.

The installation of the pad and carpet was installed in less than one hour.     10 x 11 room.   The men  left no mess.   They even moved a box spring and mattress from the garage into the bedroom.     That's what I call above and beyond.  

They also removed the carpet remants that were in the garage.  The painter had removed the carpet and pad to paint and screw down the floor.

We have used Bluegrass for at least four times and will continue to do so. 

Tony is very knowledge and very easy to work with. 

I have used Bluegrass on several occasions.  The staff is extremely knowledgable, helpful,  and their prices are very competitive.

I have been using their services for over ten years. Their prices are very good and are often lower than the regular prices at larger stores. Tony Fieldcamp, the salesperson, is great. I have recommended him to several other people and they have all been very happy with him as well.

I spent $7000 on that service.  My overall experience with them was good and I really liked them.  The hardwood flooring is still looking good.
