Gary Bennett came to the house to provide an estimate to finish a large bedroom suite that included a large headboard, 2 end tables, a dresser, a vanity, and  a very large mirror. There were several mix-ups (like the company losing our contact information) that caused some delay. We were not in any hurray, so the delay was not problematic. This was a very expensive furniture set with lots of detail, so we understood it would be expensive to refinish. It also had sentimental value. I only gave a B on price because I have no sense of the cost/value of this work. The company would have moved the furniture out of the bedroom and back after completion. I found it easier to have it ready for pick-up in the garage. The work was done beautifully and exceeded our expectations.

The desk  they worked on was in pretty bad shape when they picked  it up, it was coming apart in places and missing some trim pieces.  They repaired the damage, created replacement trim pieces and refinished the desk. They did a wonderful job, the finish is beautiful and the trim pieces they made are identical to the originals.  We would not hesitate to contact him again for any other furniture repair or refinishing jobs.

Sorry to be brief but they were fabulous.  Great guys and they did a wonderful job.  They were half the price of what a big shop in downtown Louisville estimated the work to cost.

Very professional job.  Willing to wait after hours for pickup of repaired item.  Cleared and touched up chair in addition to service.  Gave great advice about an additional concern.

I was so impressed and pleased with his work, I returned with two cherry ethan-allen drop-leaf pembrook tables to repair, strip & refinish.  After stripping, we were invited back to try out a couple of different stains and chose a slightly darker color than the original to be more contemporary but light enough to see the beautiful wood grain; then completed the job with a nice satin finish to blend with our other pieces.  Bennett's is a small family owned business doing quality work for a competitive price. I recommend him without hesitation but do call before you go over to ensure he is not out picking up or making deliveries of furniture.

The work that Gary and Chad performed was incredible. Many of our pieces had been scratched from multiple interstate moves as well as water damage to the top of the table from a plant. They are skilled craftsmen and very attentive to detail. The inlay chair was missing part of the original inlay and they were able to restore it. I highly recommend their work

We inherited a desk from a family member.  It hadn't been cared for in the past and it showed in the wear and tear of the appearance of the desk.  We wanted it refinished, but knew we did not have the time nor skill to take on such a big project.  We found Bennett's Furniture Refinishing through the yellow pages and took a chance.  We hit jack pot with Bennetts.  They made the desk look better than new.  The wood looks flawless and hardware was polished.  Drawers open and close smoothly It looks great!  They even picked up and dropped off the desk to our home.  They weren't the fastest, but we were in no hurry.  Their prices were very fair and both gentleman (think it was a father and son) were very polite and professional.  I have two wooden office chairs I plan to send their way.  I would recommend this company to all my friends and family.

This was the first time I had used their services and I was so happy with the results that I used them again to fix an Oak dining set, among other things. That went very good as well. The guy was courteous and they picked it up and delivered it. They also have reasonable prices.

THEY DID EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THEY REFINISHED IT WITH AN EXCELLENT COAT OF POLYURETHANE. IT ACTUALLY LOOKS BETTER THAN THE OTHER CHAIRS THAT WERE NOT BROKEN, SO WE ARE PLANNING ON BRINGING THEM TO HIM HERE SOON.
