"I told the customer we were about 3-6 weeks out from project start date at time of contract, they explained to me that they needed it done before hand. I recommended a sub contractor to do the work. The contract stated that the project would get Slate texture stamp with six inch border and 2 colors. The homeowner changed her mind to saw cut diamond pattern on 45degree. Also changed color pattern as well. That was the first issue we had. Secondly out of the days the homeowner was waiting there was rain 2 of the days which we stated we could not start. Although my sub contractor did state that he would arrive on a certain day at a certain time... He did not. I addressed situation with homeowner as well as contractor. The next day work began, after project was completed i spoke with homeowners and they were happy with completed project. They signed the completed to my satisfaction portion on contract and paid for the balance of job. Then thats when things went wrong. The homeowner recanted and stop payment on balance check. The bank charged fees to my account for this. Then I addressed issues with homeowner with sub contractor. Once the concerns was addressed later in the week, the homeowner wrote another balance check for the project which cleared account stating that they are satisfied with work. We stand behind our work. And warranty our workmanship. We have set up a few times to meet to go over issues but have not resolved them at this time. I will reach out to homeowner again to address issues."
