There are 67 employees company wide in 8 locations serving Kentucky and Southern Indiana. We have professionally trained installers on staff to oversee projects so that flooring is installed according to manufacturer specifications. Our flooring comes from major name brand manufacturers and we support you on all manufacture warranties to ensure worry free service and reliability.

We used the Floor Source to install new carpet on our entire upstairs floor. Natalie was great to work with in the store but then everything went down hill after that. The installers didn't show when they were supposed to- resulting in my wife and I each taking a day off work to find them as no-shows. They tried to deliver and install a pad that was much cheaper than the one we paid for. Waiting for the right one resulted in hours of a delay. The carpet then had a defect in the pattern causing added stress. Once installed the fibers in the carpet have been pulling up. We have contacted the store. They send someone out to "trim" it and tell us to call back a couple months later to see if it was a manufacture defect. After doing this 3 times we requested something different be done. Now they are saying nothing can be done and will not return our call. I paid $10,000 for a product that the company will not stand behind. Beyond frustrated!

The installer did an ok job with laying the floor but the quarter round was broken into pieces and he nailed the pieces back to the woodwork and several of the pieces were not put back and have disappeared. I called the floor gallery and spoke with Kay Fleming and was told that I should have gone out and purchased quarter and had him install it with an extra charge. I have not done business with anyone who seemed to care less about a customer being satisfied than they were. I would not recommend this business since they are not interested in having satisfied customers.

The sales staff was an A but the guys who came in and put the flooring in were a C. I had to do a lot of fixing to the final work. The carpet was fine. The quarter rounds didn't stay. They popped off immediately. The transition pieces from the tile to the carpet or carpet to linoleum were popped off. That stripped. There was dent to my brand new painted walls. I loved the sales and I loved the flooring that we picked. The price was average. I never got a response. They were there. Their professionalism wasn't that bad.

Our salesperson was top notch, professional, and punctual.  It was the installation that has proven frustrating.  The job took twice as long as expected and the installer was a no show on two consecutive days.  The job is still not finished, as some materials had to be ordered.  About 10 days ago I was told that the installer would call the next day and return to finish the job.  I have heard from no one, and I am a patient person.  I finally had to call the corporate office to ask about the status of the job.  The gentleman said he didn't recognize the job and would have to check and call me back.  
In all my years as a homeowner and experience with several renovations and projects, I have never experienced anything like this.  I have only paid for 50% of the total.

We bought a carpet that looked good in the showroom but when it got to my house, we didn't even recognize it. It was thin and very poor quality and they istalled a pad that was too thin and not the thickness of pad that I had ordered.  The installation job was even worse with multiple seams prominantly showing.  They even covered up the only vent in the room (if  you can believe that!!!).  I was told I'd be there first appointment, so took off working intending to be back by lunchtime, and the crew didn't even show till lunchtime.  There was no communication of this delay. I had to call and complain and still didn't get a definative answer until much later in the morning, near the time they arrived.
Luckily I didn't pay the half of the total cost that was due at the time.  I had to leave before they were done.  After getting home and seeing the poor quality and installation, I informed the company of our dissatisfaction. To their credit, they sent out a representative pretty quickly to assess the situation and agreed pretty quickly to replace the carpet with another carpet of equal value (and this wasn't inexpensive carpet).
We now have a good quality carpet and the 2nd installation was very good and they installed the proper thickness of pad.  So we are happy now and we only paid the original cost quoted in total so I will give them credit for "making it right" in the end.

Our appointments are generally scheduled AM, before lunch, or PM, after lunch. We should have made a better effort explaining the schedule and stayed in contact with you on the day of installation. They were subcontracted by another company. We had some problem with the tile, it wasn't glued down in spots, and they had to come out one or two times. It is an old fashioned tile floor where the squares would match up the hallways, and I was concerned when I was purchasing that I didn't want to have the black lines where they are not close to each other, so that dirt fills in between them and you can see the lines, and that is exactly what I have. I am walking the floor, and I am looking at the lines, which are square tiles, and that is one of the concerns that I had. It looks good, but I am disappointed with that. When I spoke to Amber, who was their sales rep, she was very friendly, and very nice.

It went great. Their team seems tend to work with the customer really well. They will find you better deals and stuffs. They have a lot more reflection of reblents if you’re interested in small areas.

It went very smooth for most part. expect for the sales rep did slight error she missed measured a corner of the room.  They came back in the allow time of two days to put in res of the floor. The sales rep was able to gave large discount on the item that was short.  I think it was part of my fault it was short. When the sale rep came to the house I had TV in corner.  She didn't  realize how big the corner was. I only to quarter of case of the flooring.

Excellent.  We were greeted promptly by a sales person (Charlie Pulliam).  We decided on a carpet that would meet our needs and chose an installer (Jeremy Allen).  The installer called to schedule the installation.  The carpet was installed at our convenience and it looks excellent.  The installer confirmed the square footage and measurements, picked the carpet and padding up, brought it to our house and did the job efficiently.  We are very pleased.

The gentlemen were very good with the vinyl, but their carpenter skills putting down the 1/4 round were not professional.  Needed more training...like messing up the icing on a cake.

Items were stolen from our home during the week of the installation. Two companies were at the house and I called both to alert them of the theft. Company 1 took the information and called me back within 2 hours to report on their investigation and offered to cooperate in any way that would be helpful. Company 2 was Flooring Gallery - I called my salesman 3 times and have followed with an email. I have never heard back from store management. During my conversations with the salesman, he seemed concerned and said he would report the theft to management. I told him that I do not expect to see the items again but thought the company should investigate to keep this from happening to someone else. I asked to be contacted regarding the issue. This was 2 weeks ago and management of the store has never contacted me. The only information I heard through the sales rep was that he reported the theft to mgmt and they said they've never had a problem. To me, this is inexcusable. Bottom line - the product, sales team, and installation are OK. If you do choose to work with them, have someone at home the entire time the installer is present and if there is a problem, you are on your own.

We got the estimate and they said it would take 2 weeks to get us scheduled. We scheduled for 3 weeks and were told it would take "maybe" up to a whole day to install the new floor. They showed up 4 hours late the first day, started complaining immediately, this was a different group of people than the estimate people, about how long it was going to take to do. They tore up about 1/4 of the floor and left after 90 minutes. So day two, they show up 90 minutes late, tear up some more floor, two of the three leave to go elsewhere, they stay about 4 hours. Before they could leave, the leader takes me to the van to verify it's the floor I've picked out. While there I noticed he smelled of alcohol and I got very nervous. Day 3 they finally finish, but upon inspection I realize that they've damaged my hall floor (dropping wood on it), the wall in the hall, and that the floor isn't finished/completed correctly. I called the manager, who was not in. Finally the men leave, I called back and left a message for the manager saying I would not pay until the job was finished correctly and the damage repaired. 2 weeks later a crew comes out, the guy basically says, "Don't you have white paint?" in regards to fixing the wall, they agree to fix the floor and finish the original installation. He says that the man I thought was intoxicated had been having trouble at home but wasn't drunk. (I'd previously been told they only hire Christians, therefore drinking wasn't possible...) They return a week later to fix the floor, part of the original kitchen floor was fixed, the damage was NOT repaired, they'd have to come back again (the 7th visit). They never came back, my calls to Natalie Goodin were not returned. I have a 90% complete floor, damage to the hall and wall that were not repaired. They certainly know how to bill me, even though they can't figure out how to fix my floor.

We recognized immediately that the installation was not up to our normal standards and tried for nearly 4 months to have the member reselect materials so we could do a full replacement. We have recently finished her replacement and have attempted to contact her to follow up but have not received any response. The Flooring Gallery strives to make every installation a pleasurable experience and regret that the member wasn’t initially satisfied. We found this report well after we agreed to replace the original floor or we would of responded to Angie’s List sooner. The Flooring Gallery has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and was a finalist for their business ethics award last year. We have enjoyed serving the Louisville community for over 40 years.
