What they do and what they say they are going to do is different. Every single thing the salesman says he is going to do, make sure it is ALL in the contract or they will raise prices the day of install or not do what you think they are going to do. They will say it was a miscommunication, like I and my wife both misunderstood him. Whatever Had issues with installs on both roof and gutters holding water and had to have them come back out. Was told several times they were sending someone out for the roof only to find out they had not scheduled it yet. They never could get all 4 roof corners to look correctly, one never did lay flat, and I gave up on him actually making it look right. They said it was no issue so I gave up thinking it will look the same as the others. They tried to tell me it would fix itself over time, even though there are 3 other corners that look perfect from day 1... One of mine never will be the same I believe. They also were the only company I've seen not cover up bushes and shrubs. So, if you have a lot of stuff around your home you care about, take that into account. I had shingle pieces and nails in my AC unit. Also, they were doing a house next door and actually charged me for all the rotted wood on both homes. Mistake they claimed. I had to call over and over to get the rotted wood taken care of. I knew it was not right when the roofer actually doing the house told me I had 30 feet of rotted wood, the salesman came out with extra wood I didn't need and said I had 50 feet an hour later when all the repaired wood was already done. When I got the bill for 80 feet I knew I was being taken advantage of. They offered no actual documentation of the damaged wood either. I just had to go with what they told me. Remember, they also changed me for the neighbor's wood so take that however you want. I still believe I only had 30 feet of wood but I ended up paying for the 50 to get it over with even without documentation. The insurance agent handling my claim also had questions about their documentation of the wood and why things were the way they were, it ended up costing me some of my recoverable money. Overall, I would not use this company again and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone else.

Description of Work: They were supposed to put a new roof on part of my house. I was charged 350.00 for tarps they used one little tarp and it wasn't on the leak further damaging my ceiling! They damaged they eaves of my roof and to fix it they took some of the aluminum off I was told by the owner that they would stop by and put the siding back up I was to leave it out. I did but they never put it up instead it was stolen after it laid there for a month! Under no circumstance would I ever use these people again!

This review is fraudulent.... Why would a customer wait 5 YEARS to write a review. [member name removed] works at Cloverleaf Baptist church and is a friend of the family. Our company has roofed the church twice in the last 18 years due to storm damage. This review also states she wouldn't hire them again from the work done in 2009. Our company has done work for her in 2010 and 2011. I'm also reading another poor review under our listing from a customer in Tennessee. Our company has NEVER worked in that state, maybe Angie's List needs to follow up on Bogus Reviews

They did come right away to fix it but they also sent a bill right way and it had only been 15 months. We had paid $500 last year. We didn't think we should have been responsible for it because it was the squirrels and we don't know why they used the lead. They did respond right away and did a good job on the repair. They had done our gutters a couple of years ago
Description of Work: We had used Allen Home Improvements to put covers on our roof. They were the air ducts that come out of the bathrooms. They put lead pipes up there and squirrels ate the lead. There had been a leak up there and it had been 15 months since they did the covers so they came right away to fix it.
